Chapter 3 - Mystery

Kai pov

As we walked throught the front door I heard giggles of a small childe(if yk i like you)ringing through the house. As I walked into the living room there sat Soobin with Beomgyu, but something seemed off about him like he was a different person than before.

"Hey Soobin," I said "Why's Beomgyu acting differently?"
"Oh hi, guys." He replied "I'll talk to you later just keep him occupied for a second." And with that he got up and left, followed by Yeonjun. 'Really' I thought

I looked over to where Beomgyu was sat and saw him with the brightest smile I swore my heart melted. That's when he started making grabby hand towards me and Hyun, when neither of us responded to his actions he started whimpering. Taehyun seemed to see right away and rushed over to the boy scooping him up in his arms.

"Hey it's okay, don't worry I'm here." He said in the softest voice I'd ever heard him used. Confused I walked over to the pair and looked at the boy noticing he was younger. At that moment he started to reach his hands out to me so I held my arms out and he was carefully given to me.

"Chu weren' here when Beom was wake." Beomgyu said snuggling closely into my body. That's when I realised what was going on(he was a little) ,as I carefully sat on the sofa/couch.

"How old are you right now Beom." Hyun said carefully as he sat next to me. He held up a two fingers signaling that's how old he was. "Do you want play a game Beom." I asked he started giggling and nodded his head. That's when he jumped off of my lap and ran over to where he was sat before and picked up the stuff on the floor and brought them over too us.

As he placed the stuff on my lap he jumped on the sofa between me and Hyun and forcefully created enough room for himself. As he reached over my lap to grab the stuff he had brought over, he giggled again and I swear my heart was basically mush at this point.

When I looked over him I saw Taehyun and he just had pure joy in his eyes as he was looking at the small boy sat between us.
"Play wifh me squirrel and penguin." The small boy giggled out while glancing between both of us. When I heard that I just sat there looking as him before Taehyun burst out laughing scaring Beomgyu as he jumped directly onto my lap.

He started shaking in my lap and as response I put my arms around him and Taehyun stopped laughing. I was looking at Beomgyu holding him close as his shaking slowly subsided. After that I heard light snores leaving the boys mouth so I decided to carry him to bed but not before giving Taehyun a death glare for scaring the boy.

As I carefully placed him down in my bed in my and Taehyun's shared room he immediately grabbed onto the blanket and snuggle into cause him to become a cocoon. After making him comfortable I placed another blanket over him just in case and that's when Taehyun enter the room.

"Something happened to him before he came here and we need to figure it out." He said
"I know and we will." I rplied coming closer and hugging him.
