My smile brightens as I wait for the kids to come

out of the slide.

I was told that tonight I'd have a new forever friend.

I wanted to meet them so much, I was extremely excited.

As the kids slid in I waited for them to be all there.

"Hoo hoo hoo!" I said jumping off the balcony.

I landed in the ballpit and waited for the kids to get closer

to pop out.

"Hello~ new friends!" I said excitedly. "Are you all ready to have fun!?"

"Ya!" The kids yelled loudly.

I smiled and led them to the main part in the daycare.

I felt a child tug on the ruffles of my pants.

"Yes?" I replied talking and using hand signals.

"I-I'm hungry." They said seeming to be shy.

"Ah, of course ! Would everyone like to have snack time?"

I asked.

They all nodded.

I led them to a small bright room that had tables and chairs.

I sat everyone down.

Would anyone like to draw while I get everyone's food?" I asked.

Some nodded.

I grabbed paper and crayons and gave them to the ones who

wanted to draw.

I left to go get the already made sandwiches.

Nap time:

I was never to fond of the dark.

So when it came to nap time I would try to be as quick as possible.

I put them to sleep and then went back into my room.

I turned on the lights to my room and saw a big blue box with

yellow stars painted on it.

It was a bit taller then me.

I pushed a button and the front of the box fell.

I caught it so the kids didn't wake up from the noise.

I looked inside and there was a black, blue&white animatronic.

He looked to be sleeping.

He had a sleeping cap and half of his face looked like a

crescent moon.

I sat down next to him and tapped his shoulder.

I made my rays glow softly in case he was scared of the dark as well.

"Hm..." the moon groaned seeming to be content with sleeping.

I sighed and tapped his shoulder again.

He slowly woke.

He blinked a few times before he looked at me.

He squinted and used one of his hands to block out my light.

"Hello! My names sun, you are?" I asked ignoring his hand.

"Why should I tell you?" He said his voice grainy and harsh.

"I gave you my name, so it's only fair-" he cut me off.

"Turn the light off it hurts my sensors." He demanded.

I lowered the brightness of the rays and he put his hands down.

"Sorry-" he stopped me.

"Let me sleep." He said rudely.

"Okay... do you want me to get you a bed or-"

"The box is fine..." he said almost scared of me.

I let him be and left until he fell asleep.

I got a blanket and laid it on top of him

I smiled and went to go sit on the balcony.
