Chapter Six: Surprises and 'Hanging Out' (Part 2)The atmosphere was happy at this place, where there was Candyfloss, Popcorn, FOOD, and games EVERYWHERE!!!
He brought me to a Fun Fair.
I looked at the scene before my eyes, before they reverted back to Nikolai. I felt my lips widen to a grin, before I started jumping like a hyperactive child and jumped onto Nikolai like a koala on a tree. I buried my face into his chest before looking up at him, still hanging onto him. I looked up to his slightly nervous, slightly freaked out eyes and felt my lips stretching into a wide smile.
"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOUUUU!!!!!" I told Nikolai, whilst his face looked at me with happiness clear in his eyes, along with amusement.
Instantly, I noticed my childish behaviour and dropped off of him. He chuckled before I grabbed his hand and dragged him away to the rides, and I had my eyes on the one and only...
....Carousel....
I know what you're thinking...
AWESOME, Right?!
I LOVE CAROUSELS... A LOT!
I sat down on the pink unicorn and Nikolai sat on the turquoise horse beside. As it started moving, a song started with it.
Let me tell you that it was awesome. I felt my unicorn move up and down as the carousel moved in a steady clockwise motion.
I closed my eyes and let go of the gandle and just enjoyed the ride.
Once I opened my eyes, I saw that whilst I was having the time of my life, Nikolai was kind of stiff, and looked uncomfortable.
Well, I guess its kind of expected of him, a 20-something-year-old man, riding on a childrens carousel whilst parents take pictures or videos of their children riding on a carousel, would make a fully grown adult uncomfortable...
Not to mention, the suspicious parents and the teens that pass by laughing at the situation... yup, that would make anyone uncomfortable.
Nikolai noticed me looking at him and I quickly looked down. Slowly, I looked back at Nikolai, before my face broke out in a wide smile and using my hands.
I signalised to Nikolai, to turn that frown upside down, before turning my attention back to the awesome ride and closing my eyes to enjoy the ride.
After we were kicked of the carousel by annoying little five year olds, I pulled Nikolai to 'The Ender', this crazy rollercoaster that had a 75ft drop at one point and twists and turns into many awkward positions, before landing into the water with a big splash.
The look on Nikolai's face just represented what I was sure he felt. Complete and Utter Fear.
"So, We never got to know eachother well so let's play 20 questions" I looked back at Nikolai, before nodding my head and saying."I'll start. What's your FULL name?"
"Nikolai Alexio Demitriou. What about you?" "Cassia Melia Andreadis" I replied smoothly looking straight into his eyes.
"Hmmm, Cute" he looked away for a while before asking "What's your favorite colour?" "Umm... blue and white, I think."
I, now, looked down to my clasped hands before saying "I like blue, because its like the sea and white, because its like the clouds, so i have the sea and the sky, like I'm free, in a way."
I looked up from my hands to see Nikolai looking at me with curiosity and interest, like i was a new species of plant that he'd just discovered, or something.
I looked back at him just as he'd looked at me, but we were snapped out of our stare competition
Before I knew it, The ride was over, and Nikolai was practically dragging me to 'The Skyrocket'. Its one of those rides where It holds onto your bottom and your chest as it suddenly shoots up or down.
Lets just say that after one ride, I did NOT want to EVER go on it again.
