"Please, Daddy, let me go play with her," Elizabeth implored. In her pastel blue skirt, she hopped up and down.

"Elizabeth, the answer is no for the final time. Now leave me alone to do my work," William admonished. Filling out paperwork with his pale thin hand.

Elizabeth stormed out of her father's office, huffing and crossing her arms. Her black dress shoes squeaked on the blue and red tiles on the floor. She was more enraged and perplexed than the ordinary eleven-year-old. She walked inside the party area, which was filled with music, balloons, the scent of birthday cake, and other kids. Her emerald eyes were fixed on the animatronic on the stage. Her pearly white smile faded as she stood back and watched the other kids play with the rosy-cheeked robot.

"I wish I could go over there" she whispered to herself in sadness. She slumped in the chair beside her and rested her elbows on the party table. "All of the other kids can go play with her. Why won't daddy let me go?"

Elizabeth re-examined the figure, taking in all of her details. Her silky white complexion, her pigtails of red hair, her ocean blue eyes, and her towering stature. Despite her tall figure, she had safe joyful energy around her.

A plate of pizza and a cup of apple juice were placed in front of Elizabeth. When she looked up, she noticed her father sitting on the opposite side of the table. He clasped his fingers together and looked his daughter in the eyes. "I know you want to play with her but I can't let you. I'm sorry sweetheart" William apologized.

"But why daddy? Didn't you make her just for me?" Elizabeth asked.

William sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Yes, I did Lizzy. But right now you can't play with her."

Elizabeth's face was stricken with despair as she let her ginger hair fall into her green eyes. "Are you refusing to let me play with her because of what happened with Evan?"

William froze, the sight of blood on his face lingering for days after the tragedy, the parts and pieces of Evans' brain and skull that had to be cleaned from Fredbear's mouth, including the floor, made William sick to his stomach, as did the stench of rotting blood that never left the diner.

William became teary-eyed but wiped them away as he got up from the table and rested his hand on her shoulder." How about I take you out for ice cream later? He suggested, avoiding Elizabeth's question.

Elizabeth gave her father a puzzled look, but when she heard the phrase ice cream, she soon set her questions aside." Okay!" She exclaimed.

William flashed her a slight smile. "Alright then. I have to go into my office for a meeting but I'll be back in about an hour. Ok?"

Elizabeth shook her head with excitement as her father left the room. She began to eat the pizza William gave her. She put it back down and pushed the plate away after identifying it with a so-called cardboard taste.

"Why are you sitting here by yourself?" A soft voice asked from across the table.

Elizabeth looked up to see a little girl about the same age as her with long black hair down to her stomach, dressed in an acid-washed denim dress, and wearing black and white knee-high stockings. "Who are you?" She asked.

"My name is Cassidy what's yours?"

"Elizabeth"

Cassidy sat down at the table her long hair resting on her lap. "So Elizabeth, why aren't you playing with everyone else?" She inquired.

Elizabeth sighed, lifting her elbows from the table. "My daddy won't let me play with the animatronic" she answered.

Cassidy looked over to the robot who was now alone while she continued to sing. She looked back at Elizabeth with a mischievous smile. "Well your dad is not here, is he? So go play with her " she insisted.
