Chapter 3

I sat in the waiting room. My eyes are sore and there are tear stains down my cheeks. I stare blankly into nothing. A nurse walked over and said, "You may see him if you'd like." I quickly stood up and walked very fast to the room i saw Terence go in on a stretcher. He lay there quiet. I busted into tears and dropped on the ground. "Jessica," I heard him say. I stood up without a word and wiped away the continuous stream on tears down my cheeks. I couldn't stop crying. "Come here baby," He lifted him arm slightly and gestured with him finger for me to come. I walked over slowly and laid next to him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and leaned his face on my head. "I love you," I said closing my eyes. "I love you too," we both drifted into sleep. I woke up to a beeping sound, my phone was going off. I still laid with Terence and tried my hardest not to wake him, i answered the phone.

"Hello?" I said not recognizing the number .

"What have you told them," the guy said.

"Andrew?" i ask.

"Yes you idiot," there's a moment of silence. "What. Have. You. Told. Them." he asks again slowly.

"I said a man... with a black hat over his head came out of the woods and stabbed him," i said unsure.

"Okay.. Better watch your back jessica," He said then hung up the phone.
