KATE'S POV

" Yesterday, God, Brooklyn gave me a phone and a galaxy cover for it. It was so sweet of him. But I wish he wouldn't do nice things for me. I mean its nice but that thumping of my heart becomes faster. I am worried that something is wrong, you know.

"And you have to stop coming to my room like this. Okay?" Brooklyn said.

I nodded my head.

I wonder why Justin called me. I didn't pick it up because I was scared.

I walked out of Brooklyn's room and went down to the dining room.

"Good morning." Victoria Aunt said.

I smiled.

"Good Morning." I said taking seat.

"Where's Brooklyn? " David Uncle said frowning.

"Err he is coming" I said.

David nodded his head.

"Hey " Brooklyn said taking his seat.

"Hey Brooklyn " David Uncle said.

"Hey dad " Brooklyn said taking a toast.

"So today we all are going to my fashion show" Victoria Aunt said.

"Fashion show?" I said.

"Today my designs are showcased" Victoria Aunt said looking excited.

"What time?" Brooklyn said.

"What what time, we are all going together" Victoria Aunt said.

"I wanted to invite Chloe" Brooklyn said.

"No Chloe" Victoria Aunt said.

"Why?" Brooklyn said.

"Because it is my show and I don't like her." Victoria Aunt said.

"Why do you hate her, mom? Can you just be happy for me like dad?" Brooklyn said getting up.

"Victoria, its okay. " David uncle said looking at David.

"Okay. But make sure she is not around me." Victoria Aunt said.

"Please don't do anything to her" Brooklyn said starting to walk.

"What do you take me for?" Victoria Aunt said rising her voice,

David Uncle placed his hand on Aunt.

"Its okay." He whispered.

"Wear this" Aunt said showing me a dress. A black dress. A tight dress.
A low cut dress.

"Err" I said.

"Its an event. You have to wear formal gowns." She said placing it on my bed.

" I will send makeup artist" Aunt said going to the door.

"Aunt, why do you hate Chloe?" I asked before I could stop myself.

She looked at me.

"I mean she is nice." I said looking down.

She came towards me.

"Because her mother was my enemy. My number one enemy. I am sure she told Chloe to seduce my son." She said.

"Maybe Chloe really loves Brooklyn. " I said.

"I don't believe it," she said shaking her head.

"Aunt, Brooklyn loves you alot. But if you do this he will only hate you. Maybe if you open yourself maybe you will see the real Chloe. You have closed yourself Aunt" I said.

She looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"Come here" she said and hugged me.
