?!(&%($%#%^$ POV:

A man could be seen walking into a laboratory as he sits down at his desk. He organizes some papers and sighs as he picks up his tablet flipping through his research. The room he is in is a dark room with only a single hanging light above him creating a cone of light above him and the desk. He begins a new page within his tablet of notes as if he would be leaving this place behind. He sets the notes to record as he stands up walking into the darkness.

"Entry Number 17." He continues to walk as suddenly the hallway lights flash on and show rows upon rows of doors.

"My name is !?(&%&%^&*(&:"><MN?? or Dr. ?!$(%*)*$ for short. This is my first of many documentations of magic I am going to be writing for the scientist or monster who may find this. This is to consolidate all data I have collected in case of erasure of all experiments or study work. My work so far is as follows so far."

The man clears his throat as he enters a room, the metal doors opening for him with a slow sliding motion creaking every inch. He walks inside and sits down at a console that he presses a couple buttons powering on the room and flashing it with lights. There revealed to be a soul inside the room as if it was a container.

"There are many rules to magic that we all know and abide by, don't use magic unless intended to harm or heal, don't create mass weapons of destruction, etc. I shall only focus on the 3 main rules of magic everyone must follow unless they wish for an early grave. The first of such rules, you cannot use another soul's magic, for example a person with a bravery trait cannot use the same exact magic trait as someone with a patience trait. Secondly the magic caster should never run out of Mana, this could result in instant stamina degeneration, soul cracking, and eventually death. The final rule is complicated but will be explained in detail later, it is as follows. A monster cannot use the magic of a human soul and a human cannot use the magic of a monster, unless a ritual is performed between both parties." He checks his tablet and sees it recording all his words.

He looks back up at the soul within the chamber before pressing a button filling the room with fire, the soul would panic trying to run away however the man turns and walks out of the room heading into another one. The metal doors slide open showing the same exact scene, he walks inside to turn on the console and room as he sets flame to this room as well.

"As I've recorded so far there are six different categories for magic. Soul magic, Monster magic, Pure magic, corrupted magic, Alchemy, and Space-Time magic. Some of these are self explanatory so I won't go into too much detail with those, however some require additional explaining." He walks out the burning room and into another doing the exact same thing to another. "Soul magic is one of the ones that are simple to explain. Simply it is the manifestation of a human's will connected to their soul traits and closely resembling their beliefs and/or morals. This could mean something simple as someone with a Bravery soul trait summoning magical boxing gloves to something complex as someone with a Patience soul trait summoning a Cthulhu like monster and using the tendrils for their offense magic."

He continues to walk through his lab burning every room to get rid of evidence collecting a few tablets as he does. He pushes his glasses up before pausing, taking off his glasses and throwing them to the side. The glass on the frame cracks as the metal heats up from the fire rapidly spreading.

"Monster magic is somewhat complicated since we monsters are categorized into two different types. Normal Monsters and Boss Monsters. Both of which are capable of magic, however one is significantly better at it. Normal Monsters will use basic magic like the Snow drakes using icicles to attack or the Froggits using their tongue or flies connected to their own self. Boss Monsters will use a much more complex and powerful magic system. They visualize their magic within patterns and turns making sure to try and give their opponents a fair fight because of their immense strength. Our king for example uses Fire Magic, but he also is capable of universal monster magic which is imitating the soul traits like Blue or Orange attacks."
