Ni-ki and Seonwoo got closer together.
All those times they were together, Ni-ki knew the growing feelings inside his heart was one sided. Seonwoo is obviously in love with his childhood friend, Sunghoon.
Ni-ki didn't care. He still hang out around Seonwoo. He never realized how deep he fell in love with his “friend” until he got really selfish and possessive.
Although he knew it was one sided, he tried to make a move.
However, on that same exact day, Sunghoon returned to South Korea surprising everyone. Seonwoo didn't meet Ni-ki and he missed the chance to tell the older his feelings.
Ni-ki was hurt. But he pretended to be happy around Seonwoo. He couldn't bare to break the smile on his face even though Ni-ki knew it was because of Sunghoon.
He was well aware of the fact that Seonwoo is still completely in love with Sunghoon, but Ni-ki needed to inform him about his feelings too. He wanted to take it all out, hoping that there's still a chance to be with Seonwoo.
But Sunghoon made a move first. Before he left South Korea, Sunghoon finally confesses to Seonwoo. Of course, the latter confessed his feelings too. The two part ways with a promise of seeing each other again after a week.
Not friends, but finally as lovers.
Ni-ki was there to witness everything, shattering his heart into million of pieces.
Three days later, Ni-ki disappeared without any trace. Even Jungwon and Heeseung won't talk about it.
