Chapter 9

Screaming was heard throughout the whole castle and it woke everyone up. Apollo grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around his body while running downstairs. Once they reached the screams Apollo busted in the room. His gaze was met with Guard Samson's body laying on the floor. He was covered in blood and there were many gashes on him. His head looked beat in. Apollo wanted to puke but he ran to Samson. "SAMSON!! Oh god no- Please!! Th-this can't be true! Maids! Help him!" The maids only cried into each other. That alone let Apollo know he was long gone. Apollo was heartbroken, he and Samson had grown up together. He was his best friend.

The only thing on his mind was, who did this? Who dare do this to Apollo's best friend. Apollo was going to find out. One way or another. He sobbed over Samson's body before the medical team had took Samson away. All that Apollo could do was sob into Elijah's shirt. The three tried their best to comfort him and help him be happy again but nothing worked. Apollo would either grit his teeth or walk away when they did something. The three were brainstorming what they could do to help and one thing came up to mind. "Hey, why don't we stitch him a Samson plush? That way he won't be sad." The two girls smiled and agreed. While they were planning and making the Samson doll Apollo was still trying to figure out who did it.

As the night approached the three entered his room. "What do you three want now." Apollo was still stone cold. Elijah approached him and brought him into a cuddle. "We made you something." Isabella then pulled out the doll and gave it to Apollo. He looked at it before recognizing who the doll was. "Is this..?-" Elijah interrupted with a nod. Apollo immediately hurried his head into the doll crying. He lifted his head with a smile and thanked the three. After the incident Apollo took Samson with him almost everywhere. He loved the doll with his whole heart.

Elijah waved goodbye as he said he was going to be joining his father's business meeting. He explained earlier how they were going to be using things with an enemy. He wouldn't be back for a month or two. While Elijah left Apollo and the two girls all tried to have fun while Elijah was gone. After the time had passed the castles phone rang. Apollo left the game that he was playing with Isa and Roxy to take the call. "Yes? This is Prince Apollo." Apollo listened closely before dropping to his knees and screaming. The two girls rushed to his side. "Apollo what's wrong?!-" He hung up and sobbed. "It's- Its Elijah! He- no. Someone killed him! He's dead!" Apollo continued to sob loudly as the two cried with him.
