"Thanks for having us Austin! It was amazing to be here! See you again soon!" Liam said after the last song during their stop in Austin, Texas on the American leg of their Where We Are Tour. This was their last night in Texas and tomorrow they were headed north.
As the lights started to dim on stage and the band makes their way off stage, the crowds starts to sing What Makes You Beautiful. They were all so touched by the crowds show of affection towards them in the form of their own music. It was amazing because that had never happened before. They were so amazed, because no one in the crowds had moved yet.
The boys stopped in the wings and lifted their mics and sang along with the crowd, surprising them. As they continued to sing from the wings with the crowd going through 4 albums of different songs in a huge mashup, occasionally adding in songs from their X-Factor days. It made them so happy to see their fans enjoying their music even after a show, that they walked back on to the dark stage and sat in the middle of it and just sang.
