CH-13 Minji's Past (Part 1)

Minji signed the last document which was kept on her table.

She heard a knock on the door of her office, getting up from the chair she walked towards it and opened the door for her grandfather, Yongsook.

"Good morning, how is it going, my assistant told me that you're doing a pretty good job."

"Thank you, i did took Mark's help in it-"

"Minji, how many times do i have to remind you? Don't cover his mistakes. They don't treat you well." Said Yongsook, he walked towards the chair and sat on it.

"Grandfather, why do you not like him and mom?" Asked the purple haired girl, she sat on her chair, clasping her hands on the table.

"She took my son away. If i tell you about her, you aren't going to believe it because your dad married your mother and according to you it's wrong, which i agree... But taking someone's life is not an option." He explained.

"Dad and uncle committed suicide on their own, no one forced them." Minji replied.

"You're too busy in the materialistic world, you don't know something's exist behind that world. I don't blame you. You should focus on the work. I'm so proud of you. The property is going to be on your name, soon." He declared.

"Isn't it fair, if Mark gets his part too, in the property?" Asked the purple haired girl.

"I would have thought about that if he didn't take part in killing my son. I would donate my property to the charity or i will give it to you. Never to Miyoung or Mark.

Yongsook got up from the chair, Minji mirrored his action.

"I'm leaving now, eat on time and have a good day ahead." He spoke with a smile on his face.

Minji gave him a bow before he left her office.

The purple haired girl walked inside the mansion and was greeted with Miyoung immediately.

Minji knew the treatment that she used to get compared to Mark, she never really worried about it. She accepted that in the end, Mark is Miyoung's biological son, so her mother's love for him will always be greater than what Minji receives and Minji was okay with it, she never complained.

The fact that Miyoung was still keeping her at her place after her real mom died was a huge favor for Minji.
