When Ashley's mom goes upstairs to sleep we wait to hear her snore so we could start getting ready. "Everybody shut up and stop moving, I need to hear." Ashley says. Just then we hear the faint noises of a rich lady snoring. "Ok everyone you know what to do, we go upstairs one by one on our tippy toes and do our makeup, then get dressed, then our hair, alright?" Ashley whispers. "Yeah." Me and Hannah say in unison, still whispering. Upstairs, we get to work, Hannah already did her hair so she's doing her makeup and then getting dressed. Ashley of course doesn't need to do anything to her beautiful blonde waves or her face but just a little lipstick , blush and mascara. While everyone was doing their thing, i felt out of place, me and Kayla never really bonded over makeup or hair , it was a real personal connection. Ashley noticed and said "We dont have all day, we need to get out at 9:30. And" checking her phone, "it's 7:56, so hurry the fuck up." Embarrassed, i tell her "I dont know how to do my makeup or hair." Ashley and Hannah look at me, Ashley laughs , "Well I guess that explains pretty much everything." Hannah notices my expression, "We all start at different ages. Its better sooner than later. Besides, Elena you dont need it." she says with a smile. I smile too. "Thank you, Hannah." Looking at the both of us, Ashley rolls her eyes and says, "Oh my god it was just a joke , dont even worry Elena I'll do your makeup , and Hannah can do your hair." Ashley smiles. At 8:20 , Hannah is done and so is Ashley so they begin to do my hair and makeup. Ashley says, "Ok Hannah, hurry up so we can be done at 9. Then we can be extra careful to not wake my mom up when we go into Brian's car." Why does that name seem so familiar to me? Brian.. Brian, oh my god! Brian is Matt's little brother! "Brian?" I say, hiding my excitement. Ashley looks at me , "Yes, Brian. Brian Donovan. You know, the little brother of Matt Donovan? Your crush?" she says with a smile. I blush, "Whaaat?" HOW DID SHE KNOW. "You need to be a little more nonchalant about it if you dont want him to know, but it's a little too late for that because he already does.. and so does the entire school." "Ugh was i that obvious???" I say holding my face in my hands. "Yes, and take your hand off of my hardwork". I take my hands off my face "and, it's okay , he'll be there at the party, so you two can hit it off then.And I actually heard him say you were really cute." Ashley says. I blush even harder, "Oh my god! Really?" I say. "Yes, which is why I'm going for a hot and sexy look for you so you can show him that you can pull of both." Ashley says with an actual, genuine smile towards me. Maybe she's not so bad. Just as I'm finished getting ready the clock hits 9 and Ashley spots Brain's car parked infront her house. "Ok everybody shut up, be slow and dont fall. You two promise me you won't get too drunk so you won't have a headache tomorrow, and meet me at around 2 a.m infront of the house to leave. Okay?" "Alright" I say. "Lets go party!" Hannah says. "Shut the fuck up, my mom is still sleeping." Ashley says as we go down the stairs and to the door into the car. I can tell this party is going to be the best.
