My sunshine.

Author's note: I've been working on this for a good few months now, Writer's block just hasn't been the kindest to me so this is the best I could come up with considering I had no ideas for thoma. It is quite a small read but I really hope It's enjoyable at least.

"Traveler.." you hear a familiar voice as you awake, slowly opening your eyes to see the comforting smile of Thoma. He gently nudges you as you are practically on the verge of going to sleep once more. "Come on, sleepy! Paimon sent me to retrieve you" speaking of the little pixy, as you started to re-adjust and look at your surroundings you couldn't see them anywhere. "Where is Paimon?" you said, a yawn following moments after. "I asked them to gather me some items from the tea house, they shouldn't be back for a while" he says, standing up and opening a cabinet full of herbs, bandages and other medical equipment. "You took quite the beating you know, You were in terrible shape when I arrived"

That's right, I got pretty carried away when out in the wild and got seriously injured after wandering into a hidden fatui camp. "Ah, I apologize for the trouble" he chuckles under his breath before grabbing some items out of the cabinet and returning to your aid "promise to be more careful next time wont you? I won't always be there for Paimon to run to when you get injured" you nod, passing him your arm as he starts to pick out some small rocks in the wound. He was so patient with me and attempted to be as gentle as possible. Once he had finished he wrapped it up in some soft bandages before moving onto the other parts of my body that needed patching up.

The small talk with him as he cleaned me up was pretty pleasant, from talking about our days to getting onto the topic of cooking and food, I enjoyed it very much. Thoma always found a way to turn a miserable situation into a happy one. Just being in the same room as him could light up someone's day. "All done! Feel much better I hope" you nod. He starts cleaning up the materials he used, placing them back to their rightful spots and then he makes his way out of the room. You just sigh, sprawling out onto the comfy, silky sheets of the bed you were on. Was this Thoma's room? What a luxury to sleep in such a comfy bed, you could practically pass out again.

Thoma makes his way back into the room a few minutes later, two bowls of ramen in his hands. You sit up and carefully take a bowl from him and start eating. Thoma sits down next to you and also enjoys the food. An hour goes by, during that time you had fallen asleep once more and woke up to the sound of humming. Looking up you see Thoma peacefully reading before he then looks to you and smiles, "Hello sunshine, Enjoy your rest?" you nod sleepily "mhm.." "That's good to hear. You looked quite lovely you know" you smile hiding your face into one of the silky pillows, Thoma couldn't help but chuckle at your reaction. "Paimon's back, they are resting in the next room if you would like to know" he places the book down and lays down beside me, placing his hand on my cheek and moving a strand of hair from my face. He just smiled, looking at me in a genuine, loving gaze. 

"Y/N, I care about you deeply. I do hope you're aware of that" I smile, ear to ear and hug him, placing my head on his chest. "Of course I'm aware, do you think I'm not?" he lays a small kiss on my forehead and says "let me rephrase. Be more careful during your journeys otherwise I'd be lost without you" he pulls me closer to him and holds me tightly "you gave me quite the scare when I found you, even M'lady was concerned when I brought you back" Thoma's voice sounded slightly shaky and worried. I felt terrible for scaring him, He truly did care for me and it showed. "I love you Sunshine" he sighed before then kissing me and placing his face in the crook of my neck. Did he really just do that? He loved me? A smile had formed on my face before I finally replied "I love you too Thoma"
