There's a girl who sells sunlight to ward of the gloom;

To brighten the dark nights till flowers bloom.


There's a girl who sells sunlight at the old market square;

She has amber in her eyes and mild flames in her hair.


There's a girl who sells sunlight, three jars for a pound;

Though they don't shine brightly as the girl I've found...
