Jeremy started to head out of his math class putting his text books back into his bag along with his pencils and pens. "Fitzgerald?" Jeremy's teacher called him over. Mr Hathaway was decent looking older man one of Jeremy's favorite teachers, well all his teacher where his favorite this one however he favored the most mainly because he was a huge dork and wore star wars t-shirts every friday. Today he was wearing his Yoda shirt that said MAY THE MATH BE WITH YOU. "Yes S-sir?" Jeremy walked over "I just wanted to say you've passed the final test and to have a wonderful spring break" his teacher smiled handing Jeremy back his test. "T-thank you. Y-you too s-sir." Jeremy said. He folded the paper without looking at it Jeremy knew he had an (A) he'd slipped it into his pocket. "S-see you l-later!" He waved goodbye to his teacher he needed to head home to get ready for work.

Jeremy made his way down the (D) hall making a right turn were a few kids stood around chatting among themselves. Jeremy paid no attention to them it's till they started to follow him out the door Is when he walked faster. Their laughter only made his heart race Jeremy ran gripping at his back pack straps the weight of all his belongings bounced heavily inside. "Where you going dip shit!" One called out from the sound of their foot steps picking up speed Jeremy knew they where giving chase. It wasn't long Jeremy didn't get that far as he was pulled back and pushed down onto the soft soil "You thought you could run from us?" A older boy braked while his gang of thugs laughed cracking their knuckles they where going to kick his ass for no reason.

They knocked him over Jeremy landed on his back pack he could feel something snap inside. The bullies started to kick at him, rolling over to his belly using his arms to cover his face the kicking continued for what seemed like forever to Jeremy they kicked at his sides his head and at his legs then it stopped. He was pulled off the ground he staggered back a bit bumping right into the older boy who pushed him and like a pin ball they all started to push and shove him around. Jeremy did nothing he was used to this it wasn't his first time being bullied and beaten nor will it be his last. They began to insult him calling him names and mocking him by stuttering the insults "W-what's w-wrong fag-garlad!" one said taunting him. It didn't end there they started to rip off his back pack throwing it on the ground as one unzipped it flinging his books and his hard work in the air "S-STOP I-IT PLEASE!" Jeremy yelled they pushed him down he struggled to recollect his work "How. about. no." Jeremy didn't see it coming when the older boys shoe came in contact with his face Jeremy toppled over they brought down their powerful punches and kicks till they where satisfied leaving him on the ground. Jeremy's papers were ripped and stepped on his back pack thrown into the nearby trash can.

"Oh my god! Are you okay, kid?!" A girl most likely a senior ran up to him she was wearing a girls soccer uniform dropping her duffle bag to help him up. "I-I'm o-okay th-thank you". Jeremy forced himself up his whole body shook everything hurt mainly his feelings, he held back the tears "You don't look okay Lil dude you should sit down I'll go get a teacher" jest before he could say anything a boy ran up "here you go man got your bag from the trash can and your books" Jeremy smiled people where nice. "T-thanks but I n-need to g-get home. I have w-work tonight." The two strangers looked at him concerned marked on their faces "I got the nurse!" another ran up handing Jeremy a bottle of cold water with out saying anything Jeremy opened it and took a I huge mouth full it felt so refreshing. The nurse showed up a few moments later she had called his mother to come pick him up telling Jeremy it was safer that way. Jeremy's mother did come her face panicked with worry scanning her baby boy Bushing his hair back to get a better look at his beaten face "Oh pudding who did this to you?" She gathered all his things "Just some kids m-mom d-don't worry I-I'll be f-fine" He lied though lying wasn't his strongest skill she wasn't buying it. "No your coming home to wash up you can call mike and tell him you won't make it tonight. You need to rest!" She gave him the "don't you argue with me" look. Jeremy protest he didn't want to miss work if only his mother knew what went down at the pizzaria she would never let him go back, but he had to he couldn't leave Mike there alone. "Mom I-I need t-to!" Jeremy begged her. Getting in the car she let out a sigh looking at her son "Jere honey. I worry about you" she said starting the car "M-mom I-I can handle m-my self" she shook her head "Jeremy..." his mother trailed off looking out her side window then back to her son " are you sure?" She asked. Jeremy didn't say anything to her he dropped his head looking down at his small hands.
