George and Dream were reading a book, George said some vowels and asked Dream if he could pronounce them.
George: Ok this is a very easy one, try saying ant.
Dream looked at him then at the word, he hesitated for a bit.
George: Come on its not that hard, its ant a-n-t.
Dream sighed before looking at the book again, he then opened his mouth.
Dream: A-.. A-n...
He grunted giving up on the word but George reassured him that he was doing good for a beginner.
George: Hey you almost had it, try again one more time.
Dream sighed
Dream: A-n.. An-t, Ant..
George grabbed his hands and started cheering for him
George: There you go, see it wasn't that hard!
Dream smiled, staring down at George's hands that were holding his.
George noticed it and let go, scratching his head in embarrassment.
George: O- oh sorry.
Dream looked around wanting to know more words to speak. He then saw a white rose, he pointed to it.
George: That's a white rose, r-o-s-e.
Dream: Ro-.. Rose.
George: Yep, see it won't be long before you can speak like me!
Dream smiled, he was happy knowing someone was trying to help him for once.
George looked uneasy as he looked around, staring at things.
Dream poked his shoulder wondering what was wrong with George.
George jumped out of his skin when Dream touched him, yelping.
George: hah-! Oh Dream sorry, you scared me...
Dream looked worried and pointed to George's bag, he wanted the notebook and pencil again.
George: Here.
George handed them to Dream, Dream wrote in it and handed them back.
"What's wrong George, you seem off about something?"
George read it, looking at Dream he then sighed.
George: It's just... I-I don't wanna scare you or anything like that but..
Dream looked at him, tilting his head trying to understand what was wrong with George.
George: Do you feel eye's.. staring at you?
Dream thought for a bit, looking around.
Pov: Now that he mentions it, I have been feeling uneasy of my surroundings ever since I've arrived here... like somebody is watching us.
George: I don't know, maybe it's just me..
Just then a tree branch broke and a busch shook in the forest behind them.
George turned around looking at where the noise came from, he was scared.
Dream stood up and stared at the same direction, he clenched his fist's ready to fight whatever came out the forest.
George: W- what was that?
Dream shrugged his shoulder's to answer George, just then another branch broke as a small person stepped out the woods to stand in front of them.
Dream was shocked to see what it was, George just stared at it.
George: Who- what are you?
??: I'm lost, could you help me?
George: Umm.. s-sure why don't you tell us what your name is kid.
