Queen Misaki was sitting at her desk in her bedroom, staring at the letters on her desk. These letters informed her that the rulers from the other kingdoms would be visiting Cosmia.
Misaki wasn't really listening to the counselors when they offered suggestions and ideas for when the
sovereigns arrived. She wanted to calm her mind. So after the meeting, she went into the village to take a walk. She was hidden under a cloak so no one would reconize her. There was something a lot of people didn't realize about running a kingdom: Ruling was hard. There were a lot of responsibilities that came with being a queen. When she ascended the throne, many people doubted her. They thought she wouldn't be fit to rule the kingdom. However, she always managed to prove them wrong, over and over again.
After her walk, she headed back to the castle. She was exhausted when she came back, so she decided to take a nap. She fell asleep as soon as she fell down on her bed.
Her peaceful slumber was interrupted to the sound of cymbals ringing loudly in her ears. She shot up in bed right away and covered her ears.
¨Finally you're awake! It took you forever for you to wake up.¨
Miaski looked beside her bed to find her sister, Akari, standing there holding cymbals with a mischievous smile on her face.
¨Akari! What was that for?!¨
¨You wouldn't wake up.¨
¨You couldn't have gently woke me up?¨
¨I tried to wake you up gently and you were still asleep.¨
Misaki looked at the cyamballs Akari was holding.
¨Where did you get those cymbals?¨ Misaki asked.
¨I found them in the attic; It was so messy in there, We should have that cleaned out sometime,¨ Akari responded as walked over to Misaki's desk and placed the cymbals down.
A question popped inside Misaki's head. Misaki stood up from her bed.
¨What are you doing in my bedroom?¨ She asked.
Akari looked at her from where she was standing.
¨I got some spare time so I decided to come visit you. I kept hearing about these letters you received and I thought maybe you wanted to talk about it.¨ Akari answered.
Misaki was touched by her sister's kind words.
"I've heard about the letters you've received. It's the only thing I've heard anyone talk about today. Everywhere I go people are saying, 'Oh my, did you hear about the news?' and 'Can you believe the rulers of the kingdom are coming to visit?" Akari imateded a high pitched voice and made large gestures with her hands.
Misaki laughed, "Yeah, no kidding, I can't go to the bathroom without people bombarding me with questions."
