Recap:
"It's going to take a while to get to the station" Oliver commented
I just looked down and didn't respond nor give an answer.
Liam sighed it and closed the door.
Gabriella's pov
It took us an hour to arrive at the station.
During the drive, I was silent.
I could tell they wanted to make conversation with me but didn't.
Now I'm currently sitting at the station waiting for a social worker or someone to come get me and tell me what's going to happen.
It has been 20 minutes that I've been sitting in a seat, outside Liam's office, doing absolutely nothing.
It's getting boring.
After some seconds Liam, came and told me to come in his office.
"Hey, let's go to my office, I got news." He said with a small smile.
I hope it's not something bad.
I do as he says and sit in the seat, in front of his huge desk.
"So, like I said I have some news, but before I tell you the news, I need you to answer some questions."
Since I didn't say something he just started.
"So are your an only child?" He asked, of course I was.
I nodded in response.
"Do you have any family members in your mom's side?"
Mum always said that we were that she didn't have any siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles.
So I guess that's a no.
I don't answer.
He doesn't need to know everything, right?
"Do you perhaps have any relatives on your mother's side the family?" He asks, again, irritating me.
"No" I say.
Before Liam could say something else, a knock was heard, on the door.
"Come in" yelled Liam.
I flinched a little but I think he didn't see it.
A beautiful young lady, came in the room.
I think she was, in her early twenties.
I'm pretty sure, she's my social worker.
"Hello, my name is Lydia and I'll be Gabriella's social worker, from now on." She said.
She had blonde hair with dark blue eyes that went well on her, she was maybe 5 feet 4 without her 2 inches heels.
She looked at me and smiled kindly, the one that most blondies don't give.
You know the ones that give you the fake/mean/ jealous smile.
Her smile was different.
Her smile made me trust her but I have to be careful.
"Hello, you must be Gabriella, right?"
I nodded.
I don't really like to talk.
I only talk to the ones that I feel comfortable or just when my parents order me.
