Chapter 3

"What makes you think I want to be a Guardian? And what about Y/N? What is she gonna be?" North bursts out in laughter holding the book in his hands then stops and looks to Jack, stone faced. "Of course you do!" North talk to the elves
"Music!" The elves blare the trumpets again, ignoring Jack's question about Y/N. Forgetting she was with Jack as moon showed them both.
" No music!" Jack yells, The music silenced again. An elf throws his trumpet to the ground and storms off, shoving another elf away as he storms off.

"Look, this is all very flattering, but ah...you don't want me. You're all hard work and deadlines, and I'm snowballs and fun times. I'm not a Guardian." Jack walks over to Y/N and smiles "that's what I said, but what I don't understand. Who was that child that was holding your hand, mate?" "What child?.. their isn't a child.. I- it what probably
Y/N... she is quite small" Jack teased Y/N and she smack him "tooth is as small.. she's a inch taller then me."

Tooth went up to Jack "Jack..I don't think you understand. What we do" Tooth swoops in and turn both Jack's and Y/N's attention to the massive globe behind them. "-Each of those lights is a child."
Jack and Y/N looks up at the Globe, taking in the enormity of this as North suddenly moves to both of their sides.

"A child who believes. And good or bad, naughty or nice, we protect them." Y/N step forward to the globe as Tooth is analyzing Jack's teeth with her fingers "-Tooth...fingers out of mouth." North says as she remove her fingers from his mouth "Oh, sorry. They're beautiful." She says as Jack moves away from the Globe and back toward the center of the room, going beside Y/N.

"Okay, no more wishy-washy! Pitch is out there doing who knows what!" "You mean the Boogeyman?" Y/N chuckle, crossing her arms as she leans back and look at Jack with a sarcastic look. He scoffs as North continue speak
"Yes! When Pitch threatens us, he threatens them as well." North points to the lights on the globe.
"All the more reason to pick someone more qualified!" Jack says, pushing Y/N forward "like only Just Y/N" Y/N turn around, giving Jack a dirty look "Pick? You think we pick? No, you both were chosen like we were all chosen. By Man in Moon." North says, Y/N's mouth drop as Jack turns and looks to the group. "What?" Jack ask confused
"Last night, Jack. He chose you." Tooth said "Maybe." Bunny mumble
"The Man in the Moon, he talks to you?" Jack looks at Y/N then up to the skylight, taking in the awesome sight of the moon as it shines down on Earth. "You see, you both can not say no. It is destiny." North says, Jack is still confused by the news and Y/N rolls her eyes, not believing she was chosen for anything.
"But why, why wouldn't he tell me that himself? After 300 years this is his answer? To spend eternity like you guys. cooped up in some, some hideout thinking of, of new ways to bribe kids? No no, that's not for me. No offense."
Jack turns to leave, picking up Y/N and placing her, on his back as the Guardians are stunned.
"How is that not offensive?" Except for Bunny, who is relieved by this turn and looks to the others. "-You know what I think? I think we just dodged a bullet. I mean, what's this clown know about bringing joy to children anyway?" Jack turns back. A little pissed and Y/N hop off his back to try to stop him but fail "Uhh, you ever hear of a snow day? I know it's no hard-boiled egg, but kids like what I do." Jack says.
But none of 'em believe in you." Bunny leans in to him "Do they? You see, you're invisible, mate. It's like you don't even exist."

Y/N gasp, she start growling and going infront of Bunny, tooth flew a inch towards him "Bunny! Enough!" Tooth said, as Bunny and Y/N was glaring at each other as everything is made out of silence. While Jack tries not to look stung by this. "No, the kangaroo's right." Jack place his hand on Y/N's shoulder, making Bunny stutter at bit "The, the what -- what'd you call me? I am not a kangaroo, mate." "Oh. And this whole time I thought you were. If you're not a kangaroo, what are you?" She ask
"I'm a bunny. The Easter Bunny. People believe in me." Y/N walk up to Bunny, putting her nose near his and she starts whispering "oh please, "mate" Y/N mocks Bunny's accent "kids wouldn't believe a kangaroo looking rodent, be the Easter bunny" "excuse me?!" Sandy nudges North, who acknowledges the tension in the air, North went to Jack "Jack. Walk with me."
Once Jack and North left to talk, Y/N continue to glare at Bunny.

Reader's POV
Bunny stood taller then me, me being about 4'5 and him around 6-7ft. He chuckles "look at you, mate. Looking like more of a rodent then me." "Oh please, no one would believe that your the Easter bunny. I got more of a chance then you if they saw us both."
Bunny then grab my ears and pull me up, my face heated up "look at you.. your ears are bigger then your whole head"

I close my eyes and squirmed "m-my ears" I whimper then I open my eyes to look up at Bunny, the tips of his ears turn pink as he sees me.
He drops me and I fell on my butt "ow.." I glare up at him, his nose twitching as mine did the same. I look over to Sandy who seems to be smirking with Tooth till she look to the moon, having a bad feeling "Theirs something going on.." she looks down to herself to see her feathers falling off of her and she gasp, she flew off with her fairies. Bunny helps me up before he runs off towards the direction where Jack and North went.
