Zhan on seeing Yibo having a smiling face while leaving his office, made him feel the warmth which bought an unconscious smile on his face too. He was not expecting such a surprise in front of his office. When he saw Cheng making fun of him with Yubin and a new person he was angry to a point that he would have given them all a very harsh scolding plus a very good lesson too, but the moment he asked the third one to turn around all that thoughts of scolding went into the drain as he saw the face which made him freeze on his spot.
He was not expecting the presence of the boy in the office. The moment he saw that face he forgot that he was about to give them all a lesson so they know how to respect their boss and restrain themselves from such behavior in his office. The most shocking part was that this boy was appointed as his secretary by Cheng. He was bewildered and a little bit amused as he didn't expect such a young person to be his secretary. Zhan had never been a curious person aside from the matter related to his personal life and related to his business, but seeing the boy's CV made him curious so he just asked him, and the answer he got impressed him, though he was a little angry too by the way other people treated the boy and he was not able to figure out the reason right now. He was not accepting such a truthful answer from the said person. Zhan was amazed by the truthfulness as he has always seen people who have lied to him to please him but today hearing a truthful answer from someone who needs this job and has a full chance to lie to get this job but didn't lie impressed him.
