Chapter 23

{ Liz's POV }

I was nervous, scared, anxious, happy, and exited. I had to give our last speech. I also wanted to see Nash and tell him how I felt.

Principal: "We will now have Elizabeth Teal say some final words before we hand out diplomas."

"Hi everybody. Well I usually don't stand out. I'm always getting picked on. But it's okay because we all made it through high school. I mean I know half of y'all think I'm a loser. But that doesn't matter because I know I am successful well we all are. We all will go off to different directions. Some will not go to college and some will. (While I was talking Jack screams and says, "AHAHA HOW ABOUT SHUT UP AND LET US GRADUATE!") Anyways, let's all enjoy the fact that we did it!"

As the last person was called I was just ready to throw my hat in the hair.

"NOW HERE ARE ALL THE 2015 KIDS WHO GRADUATED. Y'ALL ARE OFFICIALLY NO LONGER HIGH SCHOOLERS."

We are all screaming and hollering. We get escorted as Jack takes his foot out and trips me.

I run outside to see Nash talking to my mom as I run and kiss him.

"So your answer is a yes?"

"Yes, Hamilton. Oh and don't worry I don't plan to go to college until in a month!"

"Sounds good to me. I love you."

"I love you too. Oh and I decided to be a lawyer."

Jack passes by..
"Lol, LOSER ALERT!"

"Ha. Thanks Jack. I won't have to worry about you anymore. Bye.!"

My mom takes pictures of us.

{ Nash's POV }

I couldn't be the happiest person ever. Life is now great. No more drama.

I also will manage never to hurt Liz, ever.

{ Liz's POV }

Life can be hard. People say they can change but some change for bad or good.

For instance like me, I changed for good. I'm now a much stronger person and confident with myself.

My life may be short but I will manage to live my life as long as Hamilton Nash Grier is right by my side. ❤️

Oh, and we will all be bullied at some point but you have to act like you don't care.

Just smile and show them that they can't affect your life. That will hurt them even more.
