Hey everyone!! It doesn't matter if you're an experienced brewista like myself, or just getting started. The world of tea is for everyone!! There's a few basic things that you'll need before you get started. I've posted Teavana's how-to-brew video above.
1- Tea Maker
Personally, i prefer the Perfectea brewer from Teavana. It's simple, easy to use, and easy to clean. I recommend something like this over a tea ball, for this lets the leaves expand, and gives the best flavours. David's Tea has a similar one, but i prefer Teavana's.
2- Measuring Spoon
You need to measure your tea!!! If you don't want to go buy a fancy one, just use a normal measuring spoon. I personally use the Teavana Perfectea spoon.
3- Kettle
Now, nothing too fancy here. Just a kettle. However, you need to be able to see the temperature of the water!! i use a basic kettle with a digital display.
4- Timer, Thermometer
Yah, they try to sell you them. I don't use them. A digital kettle and a Cellphone alarm, and I'm good.
5- Tea!!
Well, it kinda defeats the whole purpose if you don't have tea. Continue on if you want reccomendations!!!
