This is a heavenly smelling tea, but I find it is weak. Maté teas unfortunately tend to be. This could be remedied by adding more tea, but I find that all the fine grinds just start to plug the drainage filter in my brewer. It is supposed to be steeped for 5 minutes, with 3 tsp. of tea. I have experimented many different ways of making this tea, and have to admit, I haven't had much success. The best one, I found, was steeped longer than I was supposed to (It's all in the name of science... stop looking at me like that!) and I brewed it with just under boiling water. So, warm water. Again, a faux pas in the tea world, but oh well. I find that there is a slight velvety taste that I can't quite place, while it has an orgasmic aroma (Yes, I actually just said that. IT SMELLS SO FRICKEN GOOD!). I can smell chocolate, and it does contain caffeine. I would recommend this as a gentle wake-up tea. It smells nice, and has just a tad of caffeine, to help get you moving. J
