Chapter 5

By the end of my first school day I had already received two detentions, been sent to the principals office and had many warnings. I also received a project in art and one in media. I had been warned by both teachers and the principal that I had to be careful about my behaviour that I must not carry on the way I am but that was all crap to me.

By the time I had arrived at the Cole's family house they were waiting for me. Why would they be waiting for me? I hadn't done anything wrong except everything wrong I did today.
"We need a family meeting so everyone in the front room." Mr Cole instructed.
I dragged my feet along for another stupid meeting. They hadn't got it through their thick skulls that I'm not part of the family. Everyone sat down I sat in the corner of the room on a single chair with Thea, Lee and Nathan on the sofa to the right and Mr and Mrs Cole and Zac on the sofa opposite me on the other side of the room.
"We wanted to tell you that we need you all to cancel your plans this weekend as it is uncle Alex's birthday on Saturday and we are planning to throw him a surprise party. I expect all of you to help and to be there. It will be here at home. You can all invite a few friends each including you Talon."
I had no one to invite. I didn't really care anyway I don't know the guy so why should I care. I'll get out of it some how.
"Talon how was your first day of school?"
"It was..."

"Okay but..."

My phone kept ringing and I know it wouldn't stop if I kept ignoring it. They were still waiting for my response but instead of responding I answered my phone.

"Hello?"
I heard heavy breathing down the phone and someone gasp.
"Talon its H I need your help."
I could hear the desperation in H's voice something was wrong and I needed to be there.
"Text me the address I'll be right there."
With that I ended the call and I had already received and ran upstairs to get what I needed. I grabbed my gun and quickly changed. I grabbed my bmx and ran down the stairs heading for the door when I was stopped.
"Where are you going?" Mrs Cole asked as everyone had came from the front room to the hallway.
"Out." as I tried to get out Mr Cole tried to block way.
"You are not going out"
H need my help I didn't need this. I had to say whatever to make them move.
"Yes I am prick move the fuck out of my way."
"Do not use that language young man. Where are you going?"
That was it I actually picked Mr Cole up and moved him out of my way everyone including Mr Cole looked surprised at how I could move him. Can they not tell how big and strong I am? With that I walked out the house and started riding to the place I was meant to be. I went as fast as I can.

By the time I got there I heard groaning even hissing H was clearly in a lot of pain and trouble. I placed my bike in some bushes and covered it up. I slid my gun out of my pocket firmly gripping it in my hand just in case something were to happen. I checked out the area getting closer to the noise. That's when I spotted a figure in the dark trying to pull themselves up but they were in so much pain they couldn't even put a finger on the ground.
"Talon is that you? Help!?" H cried out in pain.
