Usually people celebrate their first b-day at their house with their family, but that was not how it was for me. I celebrated my first b-day in the hospital recovering from a surgery... A lot of the surgeries in my life were getting me ready for the big one. My heart transplant. I was not even on the list yet because they were getting my body ready for the heart transplant. All throughout the age of one I was in and out of the hospital for post ops, failure of breathing, and the flu. I never really went to preschool because of the fact that my mom was worried about me getting sick from the germs a preschooler can have.
When I turned three, I moved to Delaware for the Children's Hospital.
I never really went outside of the house unless I was going to the hospital or a doctor's appointment, my mom was always super, super nervous over letting me leave the house, she never let anyone come into the house or anything.
