The attack at Godric's Hallow took place on 31 October (Samhain) 1981, which was a Wednesday.

"Isn't that where we live dad?" James asked his father, a cautious look on his face.

Fleamont looked at Euphemia before looking back at their son and his son's future wife with a sorrowful look on his face, "Yes James, it is."

Lily let out a small sob realizing the scene that was going to be shown on the screen.

James and Lily both looked back at their son and saw him being held by Leo, in a hope to bring him comfort.

The attack happened not even a week after Peter Pettigrew was made the Potters' Secret Keeper. Pettigrew then betrayed the Potters and gave up their location to Lord Voldemort.

More looks were sent to the boy, there was much glaring and a bit of shouting too. The most prominent emotion in the hall at that moment was betrayal closely followed by disgust and disbelief.

Having been told half of the prophecy by Severus Snape ,

"Fucking Snivellous didn't even listen to the full prophecy, bloody idiot." muttered Leo to all his friends, he always seemed to make people want to laugh even in the worst of times.

Voldemort came to believe his mortal enemy to be Harry Potter .

The Potters and Leo made indignant sounds at that statement, how could a baby at the time, be someone's mortal enemy. He could barely speak a sentence.

He travelled to the Potters' home in Godric's Hollow and murdered James and Lily Potter,

Many people squeaked in fear and there was a lot of tears streaming down people's faces. Lily and James have more of an effect on people than they will ever realize. Lily's friends were crowding around her sobbing, same with the marauders to James, minus Peter who looked like he'd seen a ghost.

The kids from the future were also holding back tears as they comforted a crying Harry, that job was mostly for Leo though.

-whom died protecting an infant Harry Potter .

Lily looked at the screen in contemplation before deciding that she wouldn't have wanted to die in any other way. Protecting her son would be her top priority whether she died or not, she doesn't care, as long as he's safe.

James was having similar thoughts to Lily, his future self probably knew he had no chance against the Dark Lord, but he would do anything to protect Lily and his son.

When he attempted to murder Harry, Lily's loving sacrifice allowed Harry to live and rebound Voldemort's Killing Curse .

Everyone stopped for a moment to stare at the screen in utter disbelief
