Addison McKenzie, a name often paired with a name associated with the suffering of children.
Miryam Azrael and Addison McKenzie were close friends. They had a tightly knit friend group. Addison was a sweet teenager, and loved his eldest children greatly. But that bond lost meaning, when his dear friend Miryam started pushing him, and pushing him, and pushing him for more.
The bond lost meaning, there was no reason for it anymore. His children were left miserable, love was a fading memory for the eldest and never existed for the youngest. And Addison became another pawn in Miryam's never ending scheme.

"Good morning, campers! Time to wake up, wake up, wake up!"
Clovis was startled awake by Counselor Marina's loud voice filling the cabin. He rubbed his eyes. Counselor Marina wasn't actually the counselor for his cabin, but Counselor McKenzie was too... how did Counselor Marina put it? "Pathetic, shattered, and barely human"?
Yeah, that was definitely it.Clovis heard the camper in the bunk above him mumble, "I don't wanna get up."
Counselor Marina heard it and quickly walked over, pulling the blanket off of him. "Gregory, there is no reason to be so, so rude to me."
The bed shuffled a bit, and Gregory dropped down. Clovis sat up in bed to watch the scene. He couldn't see Counselor Marina from the shoulders up, but he could see some of Gregory's long, frazzled brown hair from where he was sitting. Gregory was fidgeting and picking at his skin.
"Do you know what your awful behavior means, Gregory?"
Gregory mumbled a bit, and Clovis could hear the patronizing smirk in Counselor Marina's voice as she said, "That's right, you do go to the Forest! Go see Counselor Evan, Gregory, we'll talk when you get back."
"Wait, I-"
"No, Gregory, you know the consequences that come with your actions."
"No, please, I won't do it again, I'm s-s-sorry!"Gregory's sudden screaming and sobbing startled everyone awake, and prompted them to start moving. Clovis still stared at Gregory. He had gripped onto Counselor Marina's shirt, and looked like he was about to collapse. He was trembling. "Gregory, I'm only keeping you there longer, you are not helping your case."
"No... No, you don't understand what happened-"
"You are a liar, Gregory, there is nothing out there! No go, right fucking now or you'll be there for a week instead of a day."
"Wait, please, please, don't- Ow!"
Gregory's screams did not cease as he was dragged out of the cabin by his hair, but it faded the farther away he got until Clovis couldn't hear anymore."That was... awfully disconcerting."
Victor, who was in a bunk opposite to Clovis, was buttoning his shirt. He was quiet, very rarely saying anything unless he thought it was important.
Clovis reached under the bunk to grab his duffel bag, pulling his hairbrush out. He yanked it through his hair, not caring about the pain."Do you have any idea on why he reacted so strongly, Victor?"
"Oh, yes, I have been here long enough to have some grip on the... the stories told here. I'm sure you have as well, being an abandoned camper like myself."
"Haha... Yeah. Anyway, what do you think?"
"I believe he may have forest sickness, much like what Counselor Vivian said Counselor McKenzie has. He has been acting irrationally and screaming a lot, I think it's a wonder he hasn't been locked in the nurse's office yet. There was another camper, I believe Mark was his name? Well, either way, he screamed until he choked out blood and died. I think that's why they lock campers in the nurse's office, so they can't do that."
"I... See."Victor nodded and stood up, quickly walking out of the cabin, his curly black hair swaying with his movement.
Clovis put his brush away, standing up and stretching. His hair was fluffy and soft now. He was one of the last people in the cabin.
Clovis had to admit that Victor was a very pretty and well-versed man. He was about sixteen, and very pretty. His hair was soft and shiny, and bounced with every step he took. He was very tall and thin, like he was a character drawn by Tim Burton. He was an abandoned camper, and had been there for close to eight years if Clovis was remembering correctly. Clovis remembered falling asleep with Victor one night, and having his hair toyed with. Kisses were planted on his temple as he faded out.
