The multiverse was at piece. War stopped and both nightmare and dream formed their friendships so no ones getting harmed on both their sides. DS!Swap has still been trying to get DS!dream to drink the poison but DS!dream wont budge nor even drink it. He knows what DS!Swap had planned anyways.
A few weeks later DS!swap had gone out. Same with DS!ink having his own problems nor having his own life right now. He still of course works for DS!dream. DS cross had less hate for DS dream after the two had a friendship formed. It was more like a peace alliance but more likely DS!cross has been able to speak with DS!ink more.
DS!Cross didn't find DS!ink so he thought he mustve been in Justice reign headquarters. He went there noticing everything was silent. He got confused but he didnt mind. Its not gonna get him in more trouble anyways.
He passed through the halls as he took a peek at the kitchen. A tall male with yellow wings as standing by the counter drinking coffee. DS!cross recognised him as he grinned and spoke.
" well well, hello there 'Lemon bird' " -DS-
The tall guardian glanced at the monochromic male looking at him from the distance. He noticed him grinning which made him groan and look down.
" what do you want Cross? " -DS!dream-
DS!dream spoke in an annoyed and cold tone. DS!cross walked towards him but stopped and sat down on the counter right in front of him.
" Its just rare seeing you actually outside your own office, This is just so rare you know that? " -DS cross-
It made DS!dream groan, he only walked away towards the window as DS!cross stopped his own snicker. DS!dream thought about something, he was used to the fighting he and cross had. This is the first they arent arguing about DS ink.
" So, lemon bird- " -DS!cross-
" Its dream to you you monochromic oreo " -DS!dream
" hey! who are you calling an oreo?! " -DS!cross
" you of course. " -DS!dream
DS!dream let out a small chuckle as DS! cross had a suprised face on, DS!dream smiled without his own notice.
" you...smiled? " -DS!cross
DS!dream had realized as his smile faced looking away.
" We will never speak of this. Got that? " -DS!dream
DS!cross chuckled.
" fine. " - DS!cross
