Nekos POV

"This Ari girl is cool." Jake says

"I love her. I just dont know how to ask her out. She is my dads best friends daughter." I say. I wish we were a couple. I think. But dad would be disappointed.

Jake gives a reassuring smile. I smile back. Thinking this is the end. Then jake leans in.

"You know, Ari isnt the only one who is fighting for your attention."

"Bro what the hell." I say. "Are you on something?"

Though I know a party isnt the best place to talk to a peer, even if he is like my brother.

"No. Just trying something new." He says.

"Jake, bro, why dont you go find Ashlyn. She can give you a ride home before you make a mistake."

"Im not making a MISTAKE!" He yells.

I jump back. What the hell is going on? Jake then grabs my head and pulls me in.

"Jake get awa-" but he cuts me off.

"Shhh." He says "All I want is kiss."

I then punch jake dead in the nose. I hear a crunch and know it's broken. A crowd is forming. I glance around for an opening. But there is none and jake is on his feet covered in blood.

"Is that all you got lover boy?" He says. Then throws a punch. A d the thing I know, the world is spinning and then everything goes black.
