Amelia POV

When I woke up it felt like a normal day, I did my normal routine I do every day, I take a shower get dressed, eat breakfast and then I was off to work. But I didn't feel like eating today. It was weird because my stomach had a hole in it. I walked outside and it was like it was a ghost town. No one was around, not even cars. It was really strange. I got into my car and started driving. I work at a mall so I have to go onto the highway.

No one was on the road, there were abandoned cars and everything. Then from a distance, I saw smoke coming from the mall where I work at. It was a weird morning so I decided just to take the long route to the mall so I didn't have to go on the highway, it was like a gut feeling.

I pulled up to the mall and the smoke was coming out of the roof of the mall. No firefighters or police in sight, not even cars nearby. I got out of my car slowly to see if the main doors were open or not. I walk to the doors and it said 'Don't Open Dead Inside'. Really weird... Why would there be dead people inside? I opened the door to see if anyone was inside but no one was seen. All I heard was banging or knocking and snarling. I again had that pit in my stomach but it was even worse. The stench of what smelled like death was getting stronger, almost as if it was coming toward me. It looked like a man was coming toward me and flies were all around him flying. "Sir, Sir are you okay? You know there is smoke coming out of the building. You need to hurry up." I say but the man just kept walking and holding his hands out like he wanted to grab me.

The whole building was dark so I couldn't see his face but as he came closer to the light it looked like he was bleeding from his mouth and there was a bite taken out of his neck. I slowly back up feeling light headed from seeing the blood and the smell of death. I closed the door and again saw the words 'Don't Open Dead Inside' and tripped over a curb and fell on my head and then staring at the sign, and slowly passed out.
