I take out my phone from my apron, seeing my mom's name I hesitate to answer.
"Yes, my lovely mother, what can I do for you on this fi---."
"SONNNN! Guess what? Well, you don't really have to guess, I'll tell you anyways. Kekekeke YOU HAVE A DATE TODAY. PLEASE GO, for your dear mother. I will die of a heart attack if you don't go"
I sigh... Mom is at it again with the match making and overreacting. "Mae, you know I don't want to go to anymore set ups. I want to find love by myself."
"I know son, I promise this will be the last time. For me, please go ☹You'll be having dinner with her at 6pm, I will send you everything you need to know through text, okay? PLEASE NA MY BEAUTIFUL SON, I LOVEYOU"

P' Net waves me goodbye as I get on my baby Qilin. I nod at him and ride off.

I wore a black tuxedo with no tie because I'm a little rebel 🙄 💁🏻♀️. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes early. I Don't want to leave any impression but a bad one was never good, considering my mother would find out. And that was bad. The waiter hands me a menu and water while I wait for my 'date'. I was busy with the menu that I did not notice someone had sat in front of me already.
"Hi P'New. I'm Praepailin, but you can call me Prae. 😊 My mother has given me your picture, so I noticed you right away." I put the menu down and saw her pretty face smiling at me...
