NO ONE BUT YOU!

CHAPTER 3-THE PROPOSAL

MEW'S POV

After taking over everything, my dad planned a party and invited everyone. As much as I hate these gathering, but I cannot refuse my Dad as this is just a simple wish of his to invite and tell everyone. I never liked these gatherings since the beginning. One reason was that I hated crowds, and especially those where people had ulterior motives and gave fake smiles. But, apart from this the most important reason was, OMEGAS! I hated them.

The scent they gave off, irritated me. I despise omegas. From what happened in my childhood, I hate Omegas with all my gut. Today's gathering was a strictly professional one, so I have to be in control as many people out there will be omegas. I was having a conversation with some of the guest when my father called for me. As I walked over to him, I could see Uncle Thiwat, and by his side his son Bright. But, there was one more boy standing near him. He looked really different. I remember seeing him once or twice when we visited Uncle Thiwat's house. I never approached as he always maintained a distance.

My Father's sudden voice broke me out of my thoughts and as he introduced us, I found out that he was Uncle Kanawut's younger son and his name was Gulf. I extended my hand and introduced myself,

"Hello, nice to meet you, I am Mew". He seemed to be frozen in place. He wasn't moving nor blinking his eyes. Just staring at me. I guess his brother said something to him after which he extended his hands and I could feel a scent coming from him. The one that omegas have. I shook my hands away from him and asked him with with a cold stare,

"Are you a omega?" and i received the answer I was expecting. Yes! He was a omega. He shuttered as the word 'YES' left his mouth. I couldn't control my annoyance any longer and turned around and walked away. Apart from annoyance there was something else i felt. I didn't know what it was and my annoyance took over me as i began washing my hands that touched his.

The Next Day:

GULF'S POV

After everything that happened yesterday, I was too tired to think about anything else and fell asleep right away after we reached home. I heard a few knocks on my door which woke me up from my sleep. The door revealed my brother and i stretched my hand and looked at him. He sat on the corner of my bed and i sat next to him, letting a small yawn escape my mouth.

"Did I wake you up Gulfie?" he asked patting my head gently.

"No, you didn't. I was already awake before you came." I said to him only to notice that he has a worried look on his face.

"P'Bright! Is something bothering you? You look worried. Do you want to talk about it?" I ask worried that there must be something bothering him.

"It's nothing Gulfie! Don't worry. I came to tell you that Dad had asked you to get ready. Uncle Suppasit and Mew are coming to visit us. So, take a bath and get ready. He said we will be having breakfast together with them. So hurry! They might be here soon" He said patting my head again.

"So early? Is it something important P'? And wait, who else did you say was coming? I question not believing if he said Mew's name.

"Uncle Suppasit and Mew" He replied stressing on the word MEW.

I couldn't believe i would be seeing him early in the morning, I was on cloud nine but then I suddenly remembered what Uncle Suppasit said yesterday, he despises omegas! My heard sank at the thought of Mew giving me his cold look again if we meet. I felt my brother's hand on my shoulder and I looked at him. I could feel through his eyes that he was trying to say that everything is going to be fine. Not wasting a second i run to the shower and take a quick bath and get ready. After that both me and my brother head to the garden where father told us to meet.

Uncle Suppasit and Mew were already seated and as we walked nearer Uncle gave me a warm smile and i return him one. Mew did not even look at my direction and only gave my brother a handshake as all of us got seated. Uncle Suppasit then turned to me and began talking,

"How are you Gulf? I am sorry that i couldn't greet you when you left. I was busy with the guest."

"That's okay Uncle I understand." 

"So, Gulf and Mew, both me and Uncle Thiwat have something to talk to both of you." Uncle Suppasit spoke with a serious tone to which my father nodded. I looked at brother and saw that he has a concerned look on his face. I turn to Uncle, to listen to what he has to say. Mew does the same.

Uncle starts speaking again, " Me and Kanawut have come to a decision. This is for the betterment of both the families as both are the leading organizations and company. We decided that both of you, must get married!"

As uncle spoke the word married, Mew suddenly stood up and spoke angrily,

"MARRIED? WITH WHOM? HIM? I DON'T AGREE!" before anyone could say anything Mew left and Uncle Suppasit followed him.

I could feel tears welding up in my eyes as i was trying my best to hold them. Why was Mew so angry? Does he hate me that much? I did not do anything to him, then why? I love him so much but why am i receiving so much hate from his end? I find myself sobbing and my brother immediately embraced me. I know he could feel my pain cause he knew how much i love Mew. I know he knew what was going to happen that is why he was concerned. My father was rubbing my back and not really understanding why i was sobbing so badly, he asked me with concern,

"Gulf, my son. What is it? Did you not like it because we decided without asking you? My son, I am so sorry that dad hurt you like this. But, please trust me. Apart for this being and arrangement for the two families there is more to it." He tried to calm me down.

I somewhat stopped crying after a few minutes. Father left us to cool down. By now only me and my brother were in the garden and my brother was hugging me tightly without saying anything. The silence was calming as there were no words needed for him to show his concern and that he would be there for me no matter what.
