It was four o'clock in the morning when the sound of sobs pierced the silent night. Well, sorta minis the sound of cars passing by outside. But it seemed like the sobs were louder then that. The sobs were the same kind of sobs that have always came when the memory invaded her in her dreams.

And the same thing would always happen, she would wake up early in the day with tears in her eyes and sobbing. Like when she was six years old again.

She used to dream about when her parents every night when she closed her eyes and fell asleep. But now she dreamt about them once in a while and the same thing happened once she woke up, feeling vulnerable and lonely. That never changed at all.

But she wasn't six years anymore. It has been twelve years now.

Twelve years since her father had been killed.

Twelve years since her pregnant mother was taken.

Twelve deadly years she had to live without them and left alone to face the despair of losing the people she cared about the most in the world.

Now Midnight was seventeen, heading to eighteen. Living in a hotel room for now as she saves up the money she gets from working at the diner, the tips she gets, and the money she finds just to buy a apartment for herself.

Because to be honest, the hotel room she had gotten sucks.

The walls were painted antique brass color that was pealing off and leaving white spots on the walls. The white carpet was very filthy and had dirty brown spots on some areas that she had tried to clean up but failed.

She also has to remind herself every time she steps on the floor not to step on those spots, because one: it would leave a brown stain on any fabric. Two: it would leave a strange odor on anything that stepped on it or was on it. Yeah....It's that disgusting.

There was a poster of one of her favorite bands, Fall Out Boys, on the wall where her bed was at. The bed was a queen size and the only thing good about her little hotel room. It was so comfy that she would run into her hotel room and flop onto it without even turning on the lights or closing the door. She would force herself to close the door once she had five minutes of relaxing on her bed though. Didn't want people peeping into her room or anything as they walk past her room.

Speaking about her bed, that was where she was at still. She finally calmed herself down and wiped her tears away from her face. She also decided to be a lazy butt and not get out of bed. Not because she of the fast she wasn't a morning person, but because THE ROOM WAS FUCKING FREEZING LIKE ANTARCTICA!

That was at five o'clock, now it was six o'clock in the morning and still in bed while looking at the black painted ceiling. She sighs as she moved her hands behind her head, still looking at the ceiling. She remembers how she had to pay ten bucks to woman who owed the hotel to paint the ceiling one of a colors she liked.

If she focused her eyes more better, she could still see the highlight yellow color that she covered with black paint. The old color was possibly the worse color she has ever seen. No offense to people who liked that color.

Yellow really didn't go good with this room at all. Black doesn't either but at least it was one of the colors she liked a lot.

She smiled at the ceiling, feeling happy she did another thing she liked to the room to make it better. Just like she tried to do the same thing by putting the poster up on the wall.

She groaned in annoyance when she heard her Lumia Cyan phone play the ringtone "Milkshake" sang by Peter Griffin from Family Guy. She moved around to look for her phone in her bed by moving her comfortable blue blanket out of the way. Then she moved her pillows (that were the same color) around the place, hearing the phone ring for the fourth time already. She may have a idea on who the person calling her like a mother who hasn't heard from her child for a whole day is. She just needed to find her phone to freaking answer the dang woman.
