I stretched my arms as I slowly stepped off of the bus. The thirty-two hour long bus ride with only three stops along the way was very relaxing, But the clump of elders in the front of the bus gossiping could be heard all the way up the back and could be heard over my music, no matter how much I turned it up.

After collecting my bags and the guitar case I step away from the bus bay, across the road and towards the car park.

Walking across the car park I am jolted from my state of calmness by the sound of waves making their way onto the sand, as an RV slammed its breaks to avoid colliding with me.

I quickly collect myself, smile and give a small salute to the enraged driver.

I place the guitar case down on a wooden bench with my duffle bag on top and reach and grab my phone from my back pocket.

No matter how much I wanna surf I'm super tired after not sleeping at all on the bus. I check the time to see that it is just passed three o'clock, perfect. I smile as I go through my contacts and find my Uncles name.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Uncle Alejandro it's me Y/N!"

"Ahh, Y/N. I was wondering when I would be getting a call from you. I suppose you need to be picked up now?"

"Yes that is kinda why I called" I'm a bit confused now.

"I'm sorry Y/N, I haven't gotten off work yet. But don't worry I have asked your cousin to come and collect you! She should be their very soon"

"Now, your not letting Sofi drive are ya?!" I asked trying not to sound sarcastic.

"Wha- No- Why-... Your messing with me now! Camila will be their soon, I'll see you later on." He said with a lot of confusion.

Before I got to reply he had hung up. Looking ahead at the waves I relaxed my self and waited for my ride.

Half an hour later, yep she was thirty minutes late at the moment. I suddenly heard a car swerve and slam on its breaks.
And to then answer my question after hearing puffs of breathes running towards me, I hear

"Oh gosh Y/N I'm so sorry I was watching the lion king and I lost track of time and then when I realised the time I had to then wake up Lauren so that she could bring me to pick you up and. Whoa I'm just- sorry that I'm late!" Camila huffs out while only taking about two breaths.

"Wow, Milz no need to die from talking so fast. It's okay, when your dad told me that you were picking me up I just knew that you would be late"

"Hey, ruuude!" She replies back as she punches my shoulder and grabs my duffle bag.

"Hey chica I can carry it my self!" I call out as she rushes across the lot in heels.

"No no no, we have to go Lauren is late!" I faintly hear my cousin call out as she gets further away.

After collecting the rest of my stuff and rushing off towards Camila as she shoves my bag in the trunk and grabs the case off me and throws it in. She slams the trunk shut and grabs my hand moving me to the back door and opening it to toss me in and running around to the passenger side.

"Wow thanks Milz, that was such an exhilarating run" I said sarcastically as I put on the seatbelt and relaxed into the comfortable leather seat.

"Well we need to go!" That's all she said as she directed the driver of the car away and down the busy road.

Hearing them bickering in front of me was quite a funny site, Camila was repeatedly apologising to her friend who just seemed to be distracted by the road ahead and occasionally telling her friend to shut up.
