A New Life

Chapter 20

Rachel's POV

Becky just left. She is now going to live at the One Direction Mansion with Jade, Tess, Louis, Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and his new girlfriend Riley.
It's really hard having to see one of your best friends leave you, it's like a reason why I am on this planet is disappearing and its trying to tell me that I shouldn't be here anymore.
I sent a letter to Liam in Becky's purse for him to read, I feel really bad because that's how I am breaking up with him. I never actually loved him, but he tried, Luke is who I love, he makes me happy, it's just that he is gone now and I'm alone.
There is Calum & Jesse, Jade & Louis, Tess & Zayn, Becky & Niall and then there is me, no Liam, no Luke, no anybody, it's hard but it's okay because it doesn't bother me, but it actually sorta does at times.
As I was walking back to me room I looked at all the pictures on the walls that Luke and I would stare at every day when we were with each other, I looked and acknowledged each and every single one of them until I got to the one with Luke and my face on it. It looked a bit different, it wasn't that I looked different but it was Luke.
What?
I stared at it for a moment as my face got closer and closer to it, I lightly tapped his nose as the Luke picture sneezed, I screamed and fell to the floor. My eyes were closed but as I slightly opened them I found Luke standing up looking down at me with his hand out and ready to pull me up.
He quickly said " Suprise, I didn't mean to scare you there. Sorry about that."
I couldn't believe that Luke was here, this was great.
"It's okay but why are you here and how did you know that I would look at that picture?" I asked.
" You always do, always have and always will. I know you and I love you."
I was in shock as he pulled me up and we kissed, it was amazing, I was hoping that it would last for longer but it was soon ended and I had to ask him:
" I love you too... But how did you get back here?"
" I have never ever stopped thinking about you, Ben knew that something was up and he helped me earn enough trust and hours with community service and everything so they transferred us back, I got over my drug-addiction and am good now, but there are a few circumstances."
I was amazed, this was amazing, Luke was back and he loved me.
We talked and talked, it was great. I learnt that one of the circumstances that Luke had to follow was that he was not aloud to have his own children for private reasons but that was okay because that doesn't matter at our age.
I had a great night and soon it was time for me to go to bed. I got all ready and in bed when my phone buzzed.
Who could that be?
I picked it up off me bedside table and answered my face time, it was Liam, oh no.
( L- Liam, R- Rachel)
L- Hi
R- Hey
L- So...
R- I'm so sorry Liam, it's just, it's ju-"
L- It's okay, I understand.
R- How?
L- You love Luke, you always have and I've always known.
R- What do you mean?
L- I know you do, just admit it.
R- Ok, fine. I'm sorry it's just I have never, ever been able to get him out of my head.
L- I know. Let me tell you the truth, I have always known this, I only got together with you to try and help, I didn't want to leave you with nobody to trust, nobody who would understand your pain. I did it for you. You are a great friend and that's how I want it to be. Can we still be friends?
R- Ofcourse and thanks Li. Sorry I'm really tired goodnight.
L- night
I hung up and before I could even think about anyone or anything I was sound asleep.
