Accepting actually sometimes means accepting that not everyone will love you or love the same way as you do. Accept that your grandmother's way of love at her time, was getting a little bit of smacking around when she or someone fucked up. And that kind of still works for whole societies and families out there. Or that out there there's people who actually find polygamy as the norm. And finally, that everyone can have standards of their own, believe what they want, and have nothing to do with you.
Be the focus of your thoughts and let live others. This way you'll love life more. What worries you, masters you, remember that always. You're too wonderful to be someone's or something's bitch.
