It all started with a smile. It was the first day of her freshmen year of high school, and Sarah was so excited to see her best friends, Joe and Aiden. They had been best friends since seventh grade, but it felt a lot longer than that. They were like her brothers. Little did she know she would fall in love with one of them. They had there little clique including a girl one year older than them. Her name was Hannah. She went to St. Mary's Private School for Young Ladies, whereas the others went to Jefferson High. She did not see the, often but talked to them allllllll the time. They would stay up to the wee hours of the night texting. She was always the first to fall asleep. Anyways, as Sarah walked through the red and black doors she saw the familiar Redskins sweatshirt. She raced towards the boy in the sweatshirt and his friend. As she approached them, Joe turned around and saw her. That was the moment they fell in love. That was the Kodak moment. She was wearing a Lion King shirt, which she recently purchased at hot topic, and a matching skirt. She had a unique style which totally worked with her personality. You see, these 4 friends had absolutely nothing in common. Joe was the skater dude from Washington who liked to listen to weird pop punk. He had longish black hair that always looked perfect. He had the Bieber haircut, but it actually worked for him. If you were to ask the two girls in the clique, they would tell you that he was flawless. Next in the group was Aiden. Aiden was a weird kid. He had short blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. There's really not much to say about him, just that he was obsessed with President Obama and would randomly say "Obama" repeatedly. Hannah, was probably the most normal of the group. She had blonde hair, and was rather tall. She  had absolutely nothing in common with any of them. She liked to jam out to Taylor Swift or Luke Bryan on the weekends, or watch chick flicks with her cat. The group always called her a slut because she had had a couple boyfriends before, whereas the other had never been in a relationship. She enjoyed wearing shorts that were too short and red lipstick which the others called "Stripper Red". The last of the group was Sarah. She was always debating with Hannah about country vs rap music. She had red hair and wore glasses. She was usually in some Disney tee shirt or in a shirt that had to do with a Broadway show. She was an actress and thought someday she'd be on Broadway. She loved to do her nails and tell Hannah she was wrong. Back to the story, Sarah, Aiden, and Joe all shared excited smiles with each other as they walked to first period. They were so excited to be in high school. If only Hannah was there too.
