Jax's P.O.V
"But I can't take her to be council." I say.
"And why not?" Maddie crosses her arms.
"Because- she'll get taken away from me if I do." I admit. She gives me a look.
"There's a reason it's called a 'Forbidden' spell, right?" I try to cover up.
"She can't go to the council or, you know, they won't give her back powers?" I said.
"Well, it's either that or wait 48 hours." she says with a sigh.
"I think I'd rather wait 48 hours than have her be taken away." I explain.
"Well, if it doesn't work, by that if she doesn't wake up; don't say that I didn't warn you." Maddie says, then tele-transports away. Ugh, girls.
I cannot even... And here I am, sounding like one. I pick Emma up bridal-style and carry her to the bed, letting her lay down and kissing her forehead, putting a blanket over her.
She'll be okay, right? Didn't Maddie say so? I don't know, maybe it's not so great to trust her. But I do, I mean; Andi is her best-friend. I don't know what that has to do with anything...but...I don't know.
I just hope Emma will be okay.
