The Sun Pillar

Chapter 1: A New Pillar

All the hashira were lined up listening to the master
" Demon spotting have been rising." Oyakata-sama stated, " Thus I have found a new pillar." *Another one?* all the pillars thought all of the new hashiras had already died. " I believe he will help us a lot." Oyakata-sama said " You can come out now." The hashita stared intently ( well minus muichiro and giyuu) as they watched a short boy with burgundy hair and crimson red eyes walk in front of them he had a bright smile on him compared to the other new pillars who always had a straight face. The boy then bowed " Hello it is an honor to meet you all my name is Tanjiro Kamado!" The boy stated enthusiastically. "What type of breathing do you use?" asked sanemi " Oh I use two breathings!" This made all the hashira look towards him (except giyuu) " My main one is water breathing that's the one I use the most and then my second one is sun breathing." "Sun breathing?" questioned mitsuri. "Yes it kind of looks like flame breathing but is quite different!" "Ooh!" Said mitsuri. "Hmm let me see if I remember all of your names." Tanjiro stated he then stood in front of uzui. "Uzui Tengen the sound pillar correct? I've heard that your the flashiest pillar!" Uzui only beamed at his comment Tanjiro then looked at rengoku. " Rengoku Kyojuro the flame pillar correct? I heard that you like to eat a lot!" Rengoku only laughed Tanjiro then looked at sanemi . "Shinazugawa Sanemi the wind pillar correct? People say your very grumpy?." " HAH!?" Sanemi yelled. Tanjiro just giggled and looked at Muichiro. " Tokito Muichiro the mist pillar and also the youngest pillar here correct? I heard you like watching the clouds and that you have amnesia!" " hm" Muichiro responded. Tanjiro then looked at Mitsuri " Kanroji Mitsuri the love pillar right? People say your the sweetest pillar of all and you look really lovely too!" Tanjiro beamed "Thank you very much!" Mitsuri responded as she giggled Tanjiro then looked at iguro " Iguro Obanai the snake pillar right? People say you're very protective over mitsuri some even suggest you guys are married you guys would look lovely together!" Iguro turned red and so did mitsuri. Tanjiro then looked at shinobu " Kocho Shinobu the insect pillar? I find it fascinating that you kill demons with poison it's truly remarkable!" "Thank you." Tanjiro then looked at Gyomei " Himejima Gyomei the stone pillar and the strongest pillar of all!" "Bless your soul young one." Tanjiro then started looking around and the pillars noticed "Tanjiro-kun who are you looking for we are all here?" Mitsuri asked " No your not all here where is Tomioka Giyuu the water pillar?" Tanjiro then finally saw giyuu and went up to him the hashira were all surprised that he knew giyuu since all the old pillars never mentioned giyuu when they met the hashira

Tanjiro POV) Once mitsuri said that they were all here i felt quite upset that they forgot about giyuu I the asked where he was till I spotted him I then ran up to him. "Giyuu-san!" He then turned to look at me "Hello Tanjiro." "Oyakata-sama where will Tanjiro be saying?" asked giyuu-san "Well since his estate is still under construction I was hoping you could live with him for a while of course only if you and Tanjiro are okay with that." Oyakata-sama stated. "I'm perfectly fine with that!" I stated and giyuu just nodded his head. "Giyuu nodded his head master." One of the girls said. "Well it's settled then the meeting is now dismissed." We all bowed and started heading our own directions before any one could approach me I told giyuu-san if we could go to the estate he nodded and I quickly started walking away. "Why are you walking so fast?" "Um well I don't want any of the other pillars to catch up to me and ask me questions." I stated "Hn" he nodded and we walked towards the estate as we got there I was amazed by the sight just before you got to his estate there was a bridge to cross and a river under it with and lots of  apple trees. "Do you like apples giyuu-san?" "Hn" Once we were in it was very nice and tidy he the pointed towards a room. "Your room." He the pointed at another one. "My room." I nodded my head and walked towards my new room. As I unpacked I got kinda hungry so i went to the kitchen to make something for me and giyuu-san I then remembered his favorite food was simmered salmon with daikon I saw he had all the ingredients necessary and started making it I guess he must've smelled it cause he suddenly appeared behind me. "What are you making?" "What do you think?" "Simmered salmon with daikon." "Yep!" He then started setting the table and making tea as I set down the food at the table he brought the two cups and placed them on the table. "Itadakimasu!" We both said and started eating I then went to clean the dishes and saw that giyuu looked very tired he then walked over to me and put his head on my head and put his arms around my waist and fell asleep I could feel the red on my cheeks I finished quickly and then took him to his room as I was getting up he grabbed me and hugged me I was shocked and tried to squirm out of his grip only to find out that he had a strong grip on me I decided to just stay awake till he loosened his grip
