Tear Out My Heart

Tear out my heart

And rip it into shreds

Shoot at it with poisoned darts

And bind it with steel threads

Tear out my heart

And throw it hard against a wall

Tear the bedamned thing apart

And down a mountain let it fall

Tear out my heart

And stab it once or twice

Leave it in the freezer

Till it has a shell of ice

Tear out my heart

Disect it if you desire

Examine all its parts

Then set the thing on fire

Tear out my heart

Keep it someplace damp and cold

Leave it there for weeks, or months

Until it's covered up with mold

Tear out my heart

And kill it till it's dead

And when you're done with it

Make sure that to the pigs it's fed
