Chapter 8

Our lips touch and I feel sparks fly, and a whirl of butterflies fluttering around in my stomach.

We slowly pulled away smiling at each other. I looked down at Matts hand and wrapped my arm around his and grabed his hand, he pulled my hand up to his lips and kissed it softly still not letting our hands unlock. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hey Kendra." He says while grabbing both my hands and looking into my eyes "I know we havent known each other for long but there is something about you, you're different from all the other girls I've ever met and I really like you. Will you make me the happiest boy and be my girlfriend?" He asks with hope in her voice

"Yes Yes Yes!" I say while he picks me up with my legs wrapped around his waist then he presses his lips onto mine.

His soft lips on mine was the best feeling ever. We pull away from our simple kiss and he puts me down. I look at him kind of sad and he grabbed my chin.

"Whats wrong?" He says with a sad face

"I just dont know what were going to do when I go back to San Francisco and you go back to L.A. Well until May anyways." I say really upset

"Well May is only 1 month away, I'm sure it will fly by, but why May?" He ask confused

"Because, I turn 18 in May and I'm moving to L.A!" I say kind of excited

"So I get to see you everyday!" He says smiling

"Yes Matt, that means you get to see me everyday." I say giggling while grabbing his hand and pulling him

"Where are we going?" He asks me while following behind

"WHERE GONNA ENJOY COACHELLA TOGETHER!!" I yell over the music while dancing. Matt puts his hands on my hips and his chin in the crease of my neck while I place my hands onto of his hands and we swayed to the music until Nash comes up to us.

"Getting a little friendly there, arent you Matt?" He says while letting out a slight laugh

"Well shes my girlfriend so" Matt says with a big smile

"Congrats bro" he says as they fist bump "I found a chill girl myself her name is Leslie, here she comes." he says while pointing by the food area.
I take off running towards the girl Nash was talking about and embraced her with a strong hug. I start talking to her as soon as I pulled away from the hug.

"Oh. My. God. I missed you soooo much! How have you been? Wait why are you at Coachella??"

Before she could answer me Matt and Nash walked up to us and they both gave me a crazy ass look. I explained to them how Leslie was my bestest friend back home in Indiana and I havent seen her what felt like forever. After they understood, Leslie answered my questions.

"I missed you too! I've been great! & I just came to have a good time, I'm acually with Kelsey too!" She said smiling

"Oh my god! Where is she?" I say so excited

"Our hotel room, she wasnt feeling well tonight." She said feeling bad

"Can I room with you guys?" I say while looking at Matt with a sad look on his face

"How about we just get a room next to them babe." He says coming into the conversation.

"Yeah!" We all say together.

Leslie, Nash, Matt and I dance for a few more hours and then decided to go get our hotel room. On the way out of Coachella we stopped by Justins (was Justins the whole time just called it Matts place) Bus to tell him about the news and get our things.

"Alright bro, text me later." Justin says to Matt while giving a bro type hug

"Aight bro, I got you." Matt says in return

"Bye Kendra, I will see ya later" Justin says to me

"Bye Justin" I say flashing a smile then head towards Leslies car. Matt and I put our stuff in the trunk and head to the hotel. We book a room but we arent right next to Leslie and Kelsey but were 6 rooms down from them, and Nash decided to stay with Leslie ;)
