Time skips a few days later.

Cory's P.O.V.

Cain was in a coma, meaning I was going to my first-ever staff meeting alone, but I had Iris with me so I could understand what was going on, what to say, and what to do. I was getting ready to leave on the first floor of the site. I was fixing my hair, brushing my teeth, putting on my MTF uniform, and grabbing my lunch and key card. Then, walking out of my cell, I walked to the elevator. I was on the first floor and off the elevator. I looked around for Iris, and then my phone went off. I picked it up, and it was a text from Iris.

'Look for break room 11, I'm here!'

'Thanks, Iris.'

I was walking to the break room after asking around, and I finally made it. I took out my key card, and I was about to swap it when I felt a rough hand grabbing my wrist and squeezing it tight, then spinning me around there. I saw a tall man. He had blonde hair, a hat covering his head, and sharp teeth like sharks. He was rather pale, and his face was filled with disgust and pure hatred. "What's a FREAK like you out of your cell, SCP-4000?" The man said it with venom in his voice. "Hmmm... Gears and Pathos told me to come to a duel!" "Really? Ha! I didn't know an SCP could step out of its cell without testing or being used for weaponry." He said, leaning against my face, that I could see his eyes—a green eye, a blue eye, and a hazel eye. I got a creepy vibe from him. "How about this 4000? I and you put you back into containment! Until for testing and!" Clef, release him!" Said a voice. I turned and saw Kondraki standing there. Clef let go of my wrist, allowing me to get into the break room. Everyone just stared at me awkwardly. I bet they still remember me and Cain's little incident three days ago.

Iris waved me down. I sat down by her, and we talked about random topics like the new TV shows the foundation has allowed us to watch, like 30-Day Fiance, Teen Titans, BNHA, Supernatural, and Wife Swap. But I felt like everyone was staring at us, whispering, pointing, or laughing. Then footsteps came towards the door; it swung open, and then Gears and Pathos, along with Iceberg, stood in the doorway. Gear's footsteps echoed through the break room walls, causing everyone to make eye contact with Gear.

"Good morning, everyone!" Gears spoke in a cold voice; his face had no emotions; he looked rather cold and mechanical. He pulls out many documents. "Let's get to this staff meeting quickly before today's task." Everyone nodded. "A word from the o5 regarding Incident 408-A: unfortunately, due to the damage to the break room in the Euclid level, the budget has been cut to repair that break room, so no sugar in anyone's coffee until next month." Everyone stood up and started to protest after Gears made that announcement. "WHAT? NO WAY!" Someone yelled. "SO WHAT? SITE-42 GETS SWEET-N-LOW IN THEIR COFFEE! WHILE WE HAVE TO SUFFER BECAUSE SOMEONE WON'T REFILL 408'S FEEDERS?" Yelled Rights. "YEAH, WHY DO SITE-19 AND 42 GET ALL THE SUGAR WHILE WE HAVE TO SUFFER?" Bright yelled. "Everyone, calm down! There is a bright side to all this: Dr. Kondraki has offered to buy sugar for the morning coffee from his paycheck." Kondraki nodded and may be feeling guilty for 408's mess.

"Moving on! Oh! SCP-076-2 has broken out of containment in Area 25-b. We are having trouble tracking him down; his whereabouts are still as of yet unknown, so if you do see him, please contact Mobile Task Force Tau-5 as soon as possible." Pathos explained. 'Wait? Able..? Why is he out?' He looked at Iris. "Unfortunately, SCP-076-2 seems to be traveling here, so keep an eye out," Pathos said. "Moving on! Clef stops harassing and being creepy around the humanoid scps; the O5 said it themselves: as long as they don't try to escape from the site, they are allowed to wander around the site." Gears stated calmly. I turned my head, and Clef had a creepy, wide grin, showing his sharp teeth. "Oh, Gears, I wouldn't dream of it." He said it rather rudely. I turned to Iris and whispered to her. "Hey, Iris, is it just me or Clef is just creepily smiling at us?" She took a glimpse at him, and she whispered, "Yeah! He is creepily smiling at us!"

After the meeting with other staff, I and Iris decided to hang out in the cafeteria since it was lunchtime. "God! I hate Clef sometimes. He is such a jerk." Iris mumbled under her breath. Clef walked past us accidentally, bumping into me. I heard him mumble under his breath, saying, "Sorry, ugly motherfucker!" I quickly recovered, rubbing my shoulder.

'I wish Cain was here.'
