Alice always loved kids. As a young teen she highly looked forward to when she would be asked to watch younger kids, and as a young adult she wished to have children of her own. Shortly after trying many times though, she found out that wouldn't be possible.
For months, days, years she fell into such despair that she hardly even moved when she awoke in the mornings. At this point in life she was particularly all alone, like everyone just left her when life got hard.
Later, a lot later, she was a bit better. Well better enough that she could go for a saunter in the park. Whilst at the park Alice met a lovely, kind fellow named, Michael. They became quite close not long after meeting.
Michael slowly, yet surely, helped Alice get though her tough times. He helped by being there for her, and allowing for her to finally have someone she's comfortable around to talk too. Alice was the best she's been in a long time, and her relationship with Michael was strongest one she's ever been in.
A while later, even though they knew it would be impossible, Alice and Michael tried to have a baby. Alice, knowing not to get her hopes up, tok a pregnancy test. Obviously expecting a negative result, Alice was filled to the brim with shock joy when she saw the positive results. To the point where she screamed down to Michael, "IT'S POSITIVE!" Michael hearing the shocking news rushed down the stairs, and upon seeing the results with his own eyes he broke down into tears ofdelight, Alice joining him not long after.
Alice so filled with cheer, hastly traveled to the stores to get all sorts of supplies to prepare. Such as baby clothes, shoes, cookies and many more. Few months into the pregnancy, Michael built the baby's crib, their room almost ready, and the pregnancy just around the corner.
"MICHAEL, MY WATER BROKE!" Alice thunderosly yelled up to Michael, whom hearing the news raced down the stairs, almost tripping about a thousand times. Nervousness now hitting them in the heads, Alice and Michael hopped into the car to dash over to the hospital.
Sometime later, you're going for a short drive. It's a dreary rainy day, and the grey clouds are crowding the sky. Off in the distance you see a lady, obviously in dissillisionment, who's standing next to a table, and by the table there's a sign. Since you are still quite a distance away, it is unclear what the sign reads, but as you get closer your finally able to make out what it says, you read, " For sale: baby clothes, shoes, pacifiers... never used."-motivation from something on pinterest, but all writing is mine
