You watched  as two more mutants were thrown in the cage, your heart pounding out of your chest. It sickened you to know this was all your parent doing.

"Wait!" you screamed loudly causing your lungs to burn. Your mother turned to you sending shivers down your spine .

"What is it now?" she asked impatiently.

"The gas pipe is going to break" you pointed out calmly "And no one would pay money to see two mutants die from toxic fumes"

"Yes" she quickly signal for the guards to get the mutants out, then turned to you with a sickening look of pride.

"I'll make sure they will still be able to fight" you quickly scramble to the holding cells.

"Get away" the frightened mutant lashes out at you. You slowly kneel down next to the mutant.

"Here let me help" you grab his arm and start wrapping it up."its okay I'm a friend" you smile handing him a candy bar.

"Are they fit enough to fight" you turn to see your mother's cold eyes staring directly at you.

"Yes but you should wait a few days just to make sure" you hide the candy bar in the back of you coat.

"Good" She walked past you. You know you would receive a beating if you got caught.

"Here" you smile  handing the small mutant.  The young mutant quickly snatches the candy bar.

"Like a pice of candy is going to make anything better" You looked over to see to see a blonde mutants with wings.

"I'm doing my best" you say walking over to his cage.

"If you really wanted to help you'd let us free" you had tried to do that for years but ever time you failed earning another scar.

"I can't" you say not looking towards him.

After weeks of watching you help mutants Warren finally started to trust you.

"Have you ever been to Japan" you jump up in suprising. Was he actually talking to you?

"No" you shake your head.

"I use to go on business trip with my parents" you set next to his cell as his tells you about Japan. Next thing you know you and him start to talk about everything. You would spend hours talking and everytime you talk to Warren you a load lifted off your shoulders. Everything was great untill you had to start throwing mutants in the ring.

"How could you do this your just like your parents!" Warren yells.

"I had no choice" you scream but "You don't think I already tried that" Warren takes his wings and knocks you down.

"Your a monster" and with that he turns and stare at the wall.

"I'm not my parents!" You scream before storming off.

"I saw you talking to that mutant again you know what that means" You take off your hoodie. You arm is covered in gruesome scars from the other times you had be caught talking to mutants.

"Yes mother" She takes a dagger at cuts into your arm ten times. You look in the mirror your. You never showed your scares, from a young age you were tought to hid them because they showed weakness.

"I hope the pain teaches you a lesson" but it wasn't the cuts on the outside that hurt it was the one on the inside.
He didn't know the pain and torture your parents put you through but al the same it burned deep inside of you.

Two weeks later
You arm still hadn't heald but at lest you had gained your parents trust. You had stopped helping mutants and hadn't talk to Warren since the fight.

"Good job" you dad said as you cleaned the battle arena. You nod going back to work. The truth is you need to gain your parents trust to get them to hand you the key.

"I'll go cook dinner" You quickly walked past the cells trying not to make eye contact.

"(Y/N)!!!" Warren called as you darted past him.He really wanted apologize to you for what he said it was unfair but you didn't slow down you had to keep to the plan.

"Oh my little (Y/N) I have a job for you" you turn to see your mom in the door way "I have a job for you" she smiles...

Your eyes widened it was the key to the control booth. This was you chance to save them all of them!

"I need you to clean the control room" All you have to do turn off the security and unlock the cells. 'I've got this' you say to yourself.

"Yes Mother" you smile walking towards to door. 'This is it' you grab you keys to the cells. You quickly go in to the control room and set all security to go off in five minutes before heading to the holding cell.

"Good day" one of the guards chuckled as you walked in to the holding room.

"Hey can you go get me some food?" You smile sweetly. The guard nods before running off to get you some thing to eat.

"I must be insane" you say to yourself as you open the first cell

"Stop" you blood chilled as you turned around the lead guard standing be hind you with a taming stick.

"(Y/N) get out of hear!!!" Warren screams as you position yourself to fight.

"Sorry but I done taking orders " you smile at him. Guard goes to hit you with the stick but you quickly dodge grabbing the sick and send him flying through the air.

"Looks like you need to learn so manners" pulls out a gun.

"(Y/N)!!!!"A load sound booms through the room echoing of the walls. You look down to see your shirt soaked in blood.

"Warren?"Everything suddenly goes in slow motion as you fall to your knees before leading face first into the ground.

"Should have listened to your friend" the guard grins walking over to you "you were cute too, what a waste"

"Leave her alone" Warren suddenly had a strange new strength he never felt before. His wings spread out breaking the bars.

"And what-" The guard gasped as he saw that Warren was now free. Warrren slammed the guard into the wall with his wings.

"HEY! Look at me!" Warren called but it was to late you stop fighting to stay awake.

"I sorry..." you wispered as you let yourself slip into darkness

" Ugh" your head was buzzing like crazy. Suddenly you remembered the mutants locked in the cell. You pushed you self up instantly regretting it.

"Don't do that" Warren dart over to you. He quickly grabbed as you fall forward.

"I need to go help the other mutants" you panic trying to get out of his death grip

"It's okay their all fine thanks to you" he smilled. This was the first time you had saw him actually smile instead of smirk. 'Why is he so hot!!!!" Your cheeks turned cherry red.

"I guess I finally did something right for once" you felt Warrens wing suddenly tense up.

"(Y/N) when I saw you laying on the ground soaked in blood I thought I had lost you" Warrens looked deeply into your "I suddenly realised I might never get to tell you how much I love you"

"You love me?" You asked in shock. He nodding as he held your hand. Tears stared to role out of your eyes as you smile "I love you to" Warren wrapped his wings around you as he gently kissed you.
