Emma and Andrew were home alone in the living room, it was 9 pm and the only light that was on was the television. Emma had to go to a party at a park nearby but she didn't really want to leave her brother alone by himself. "Hey are you sure you'll be fine on your own?" Emma would ask seeming unsure "I can skip this party it's not that important." Andrew stood up "I'm 100% sure! You can trust me I won't open the doors for anyone I promise!" Andrew spoke out with a reassuring tone. "Very well.." Emma got up walking out the door stopping halfway "If you need something, call me alright? I'll be back soon.." she'd smile slightly closing the door on her way out. "Wow I can't believe she actually trusted in me to stay home alone!" Andrew chuckled to himself sitting back down to watch the show he was previously watching with Emma sighing. Meanwhile Emma was walking down the street heading towards Mina's house; she'd promised to come with Emma due to her being the one inviting her to the party in the first place. As she arrived she'd knock on the door "Knock Knock is anyone hooome?" She'd slightly hum out as she heard footsteps coming from inside the hours almost in a hurry to the door. "Hey girl!" Mina opened the door huffing slightly "Are you ready for the party of your life?" She'd exclaim excitedly "Of course Mina I'm ready for anything." Emma chuckled "Now cmon we're gonna be late!" She'd grab Mina's arm and watch towards the direction of the park on the way they'd both crack jokes and laugh. A couple of minutes have pasted and they've arrived at the party. Emma and Mina walked in and instantly spotted their friends Mina quickly running over to them of course tripping half way "Pff- Mina are you alright?" Emma walked over trying not to laugh at the sight of Mina on the ground "Yea I'm fine Pff" Mina cracked into laughter as Emma helped her up. "Hey you two." Carlos walked over to the women "Hi Carlos!" Mina brushed off the dirt off her clothes. "How was the fall Mina?" Carlos chuckled "It wasn't pleasant I think I scraped my knee" Mina giggled "How'd you get invited anyways I thought you were too much of a coward to join parties." Emma raised an eyebrow at Carlos "Cecilia dragged me along, she's pretty strong for a gal her size..." He'd sigh "Did she forcefully drag you or something?" Mina joked "Yea..she did..." "ah-" He'd chuckle "But its alright cmon she wants to see you guys" he'd grab their hands and walk towards a table. "Yo Cece!!" Carlos yelled out towards the girl with blue hair "Oh hello Carlos, and you two." She'd cross her arms getting up from her seat to greet the two. "It's been years since middle school." She'd blankly state at them almost like she had a death stare on them. "Yeeeaaa it has been...heh time flies doesn't it!" Mina tried to lighten the mood but failed completely "Well it's nice to see you guys again." She'd place her hands on their shoulders. "It's nice to see you too, Cecilia." Emma smiled "Congratulations too." "Thank you Emma." Cecilia took her hands off their shoulders and smiled slightly "Do you guys want cake or anything?" "Yea sure I'd kill for cake right now!" Mina exclaimed chuckling right after. "Alright feel free to sit down I'll be back with your cake and beverages." Cecilia would get up and walk out. "Soo how are you guys doing in high school? Any gossip?" Carlos asked wanting to hear something interesting "Yea actually, yknow Tyler? Well he cheated on his girl friend with some dude and his girlfriend got so mad she threw eggs at his face! And also there was this one time wher-" "Mina what did we say about telling that story." Emma stared blankly into Mina 's eyes "Awh sorry" Mina scoffed "Aw cmon you can't leave me there! I was so invested." Carlos crossed his arms disappointed "Sorry man" Mina looked down "It's no worries I'm only joking!" Carlos uncrossed his arms standing up straight "Say do you guys remember when we snuck into that haunted house near the hill and we all got so scared?" Carlos chuckled "Hell yea I remember it was so funny, especially how Isaac screamed in terror! He screams so girly." Mina commented covering her mouth from laughter. "Hey speaking of Isaac did he come to the party?" Emma asked completely changing the subject "Oh uh I don't think so you know how he is nowadays.." Carlos sighed sadly "I do miss him being annoying though." Mina looked up at Carlos "Yea I miss him too, Cecilia should've dragged him too. Kinda like how she did with you I mean look at your head" She'd giggle. "Mina that's not funny my head still hurts from being dragged!" Carlos exclaimed his voice cracking "Pff-" Emma covered her mouth as Mina bursted into laughter "Oh cmon guys it's not funny!!!" He'd scoff slouching. "Okok I'm sorry!" Mina said trying to catch air "It's just it's fucking hilarious how your voice cracks." She'd admit finally catching air "You two are hella stupid as shit." Carlos stayed in annoyance "That's why we're friends dude." Emma chuckled as the music was turned up louder.
