It was a long match, blood, and gore. Quite horrific, but in the end, I won a good fight, I've even offered the man to train with us.
Kris came to me "guess whose fighting next?", In the distance, I could hear the clear words of
"Everyone please welcome our newest fighter, the dove".
People were cheering her on.
"She must be making quite the performance", I muttered to myself. I remove my pony and raked my short chestnut hair.
"Do you want to go watch, I think it's gonna be quite the match", Kris asked.
The words 'yeah' were about to leave. my mouth until Moore entered my office, "You have a guest waiting for you."
"Ding, ding, ding, give it up for our winner, Dove", announced Kris.
Beginners luck
A man covered by the night stood in my office, his eyes, forbidden, his stance, slouched. "Your father sent me, he's requested for you to come home, family business."
I looked the man straight in the eyes, I was intimidated but I kept my ground.
"And why should I agree?", I queried.
"Don't make this more difficult than it has to be young lady."
"Goodbye Ms Rabbit. This is your call." Kris left me as always. She ran out the door .
In the same moment, the dove walked in, "Oh sorry this isn't the bathroom?", Her face turned red from embarrassment. "Well I should be on my way-", I softly grabbed her arm. "sorry sir, could you give me and Dove a few minutes"
He left the room, no words said.
Dove walked into the room and sat on my chair
"Can I see you without your mask?" I asked. She looked me dead in the eyes,
"It's my identity" she replied.
"Well, could I at least see-" she stopped me mid-sentence," Give me a reason to", she growled.
I got up and walked to her in her seat, "I want to see you, not 'the dove", I said as I leaned over her.
"C'mon, take it off then", she said.
I first looked at her, I knew this wouldn't go my way, but it was worth a shot. As I was about to remove her mask, I felt the heavy impact on my jaw. Did she just punch me?
I looked her up and down for a bit.Blood dripped out of my nose.
"Do you know who I am?", I asked.
"I don't care who you are", she replied. At that same moment, I pinned her hands above her head, with my mouth only a few centimeters away from her left ear.
"Don't test me", I whispered. Her face, now even hotter than before, she remained on the chair, no words could leave the tip of her tongue. She was speechless.
My men walked in.
"It's time to go.", said the tallest of them all.
Her face stays unknown as her mask remains...
