~Sophie's POV~
Twigs brushed and snapped at the Blonde Witch's ankles, hissing at the pain some of them inflicted upon her.
She knew the king was waiting for her, and it wouldn't be long before Sophie would reach Camelot.
Of course, she had told Agatha about her plan before setting off, promising she'd find a way to communicate with her best friend whilst manipulating her enemy into thinking she was on his side.
How long, exactly, did a promise last for though before it is broken?
Sophie tried not to think about the owner of the dress she was wearing then, the wrinkled, bland white fabric indicating how long she hadn't changed her clothes for.
"I'll be there soon" were the words she kept telling herself to distract her upon the wounds and stress she kept inflicting at her body.
As if it hadn't taken a millennia to get to Camelot by foot, her emerald green piercing eyes spotted the king's castle on the hill, a couple minutes away, the marbled pillars sparkling in the dawning sun.
Panting as if she had finished a race, the witch half-struggled to keep herself going to arrive at her enemies home, her legs refusing to work.
With all the effort she had within her, the witch pulled herself up the hill, making it clear she was careless of any castle guards that spotted her in the clearing, questioning her authority, and her appearance. That was, until, she crossed paths with Kei right in front of the gate, blackened gaze piercing through her own.
Sophie put her sinister acting face on, and glared at the captain.
"Well? Where's your king?"
She could sense Kei's discomfort, watching him squirm around like a fish on a hook to her satisfaction. He wasn't used to others giving him orders. Unless, the person was Rhian, of course.
"Would you like me to request for His Majesties presence?" he muttered, clearly irritated at her words.
"Oh darling, you aren't that much of a dog to play fetch now, are you?" Sophie smirked, her soft cackle immediately turning into an authoritative snarl once she read his face, blooming in pure rage. "Go run along and tell your sire that his queen has returned to be by his side, offering her true loyalty in return for his own".
Even a couple other guards nearby started to eavesdrop upon her words, and the witch glanced down and picked at her nails, batting her lashes in a synchronised rhythm.
She heard Kei audibly growl deep down in his throat, hesitating for a second.
After what seemed like hours, he opened the gate for them as he left Sophie standing there right outside the castle, ignoring her devious smile, watching him leave to inform Rhian upon her arrival.
Oh yes, Sophie thought.
There are many ways into handling dogs, no matter how badly they need a leash.
She stared out into the darkened hall in front of her outside the castle entrance, right where Kei had proceeded to go through.
And now to tame the lion...

I deeply apologise about how this was such a short introduction to the story. I'll definitely write heaps more when I get more ideas.
