-Y/N POV
Hi again! Did you miss me? If you don't know who I am, hi! My name's Y/N and this is the story- well... the second part of the story of how my life turned upside down. But first, let me give you a short recap of everything that happened.
It was a beautiful day but the only beautiful thing was the weather, the rest was havoc. My landlady just told me I had to move out and I did, not right away though. I had to go look for a job first, one that pays me well enough to afford another place to live in. So I went job hunting. Hours gone by and I couldn't find anything and I was just about to give up but by a miracle, a flyer was stuck right in front of me.
The job paid so well and even offered a place to live in so why not? What was stopping me? I had no place to live in and no money to buy essentials, I obviously had to take the job. So I called the number written at the bottom of the flyer. Soon enough, I found myself in front of eight men.
I was hired as a stay-in cleaner/chef for the one and only, Stray Kids. At first, it was a little hard because I couldn't cook but the cleaning part went smoothly because I had my best friend Wang Ja there to help me every single week. It was also a little hard because someone in the group cough Hyunjin cough hated me. He slammed my precious cheesecake on the floor that one time and I still hold it against him even though he's my boyfriend. I worked really hard on that beautiful cheesecake, how could he have just smashed it onto the floor...
Anyways, time passed and we got closer as friends and one day, I confessed. We still stayed as friends that time because he was an idol and he was under a strict contract of a three years dating ban and of course, I didn't want to be in his way of becoming a world wide superstar so we made an agreement to wait it out. After around three months, his dating ban was lifted and we started going out officially.
The other members and I also started becoming closer since I saw them every single day and we became good friends. But after a while of working with them, I decided to move out. I had enough money from working for them to stay in a rental apartment for a few years. And staying with eight dudes for the rest of my life isn't very... ideal.
I also stopped working for them and instead started interning for a company. Although it was hard to tell them the decision I made, especially Hyunjin, they all supported me in the path I was going to take. And besides, I am still going to visit them once in a while and maybe cook a little something for them. All in all, I'm still close as ever with them and I wouldn't change it for anything.
That's enough of that. Now time for me and my boyfriend, Hyunjin. These past few months had treated us well and in about a week, it's going to be our one year anniversary. From that day he asked me to be his girlfriend at the beach, until now. I still can't believe how long it has been. I felt like it was just yesterday that I confessed to him on the bench at the rooftop.
There isn't really much to say about our relationship. He's a busy man and I'm a busy woman, because of my new job. But nevertheless, we still make time out of our busy schedule to meet up and have cute dates with one another.
"Hey!" I waved my hands high in the air, "Over here!"
The weather was cold, snowflakes falling on every surface it sees. The whole pathway filled with people wearing their padded coats, and a thick long scarf covering their necks.
"Hey, I'm here. Did you wait long?" He asked, his sweet voice echoing.
"No, not really. Don't worry about it. Let's go inside first." I replied, opening the door for the both of us to walk in.
"I see you're wearing the scarf I gave you, huh? You must really like me, don't you?" He said, raising his eyebrow a little.
"Oh shut up, Hyunjin." I rolled my eyes playfully as I hit him lightly on the arm.
He chuckled slightly then lead me to our reserved table at the very end of the restaurant. He pulled out a chair, gesturing for me to sit down.
I took off my coat and sat down, turning my body to hang my frosty coat on the back of my chair. Hyunjin also took his seat and did the same.
"So? How's the apartment and new job?" He asked, looking eager as ever.
"You ask me this every single time we meet and it's been two months already babe," I laughed a little.
"What? I can't ask about my girlfriend? Since we can't see each other so often, I just want to know how's everything going. You are my girlfriend afterall..." He explained, earning a sweet smile from me.
"Well, the apartment is in good shape and my job is actually really fun. There's this one new employee who's gonna come in this Thursday and I really hope it's a girl that's around my age cuz all of my coworkers there are either a dude or a 40+ years old person..." I said, deep into my thoughts, "Like I don't have anything against old people or middle aged people but like I can't really communicate with them you know? and like they are also a bit of a uh... boomer."
NO ONE'S POV
As Y/N continued rambling on and on about why she wanted a same aged coworker, Hyunjin just stared at her in awe. His eyes fixed on her while his ears were listening carefully to her charming voice. It had already been a whole year of listening to her talk yet everytime he heard her voice, his face lights up in excitement.
The waiter came and took their orders and soon enough, their food came and they started eating. After a while of eating and chatting about their lives, they got up and left the restaurant.
"Cmon, I have somewhere special I wanna bring you." Hyunjin said as he held her hands and started walking. Y/N obliged and clasped her hand around his, interlocking their fingers together.
They walked along the icy cold streets, Y/N kicking the snow once in a while for fun. Soon, they reached a building that Y/N recognizes instantly.
"Why are we here...?"
