8. "I have an idea"

Fallon's POV:

*time skip - the next day*

"I need to talk to Y/N, where is she?"
"She went for a walk around the grounds, she said she'd be back soon. She looked quite distressed. She said if you asked for her I had to tell you she was in the same spot as always if that helps?"
"okay thank you"
Y/N will be at the big tree by the lake, I've taken her there a few times over the past few days, she sits there for hours reading. She says it brings her peace.
Sure enough, there she was. She looked beautiful, her concentrated face and long hair flowing in the wind. She looked up and saw me and waved me over.

Your POV:

"Fallon, come here I need to talk to you"
Fallon has been so patient and respectful over the fact that I haven't been ready to tell her why I got so worked up yesterday, I think I'm finally ready to tell her what's going on.
Y/N
F- Fallon
Y/N: "Okay I need to tell you what's going on, even if you think differently about me or you don't want to be with me anymore"
F: "Darling nothing you say is going to change anything between us I promise"
Y/N: "You say that now, you don't know what you're in for"
F: "Trust me, I am so in love with you Y/N, nothing is going to change that"
Y/N: "Okay, I need you to listen now okay?"
F: "Okay."
Y/N: "So I'm guessing you've already figured out that I'm worked up about Diego Calastana but you're also probably very confused as to why, am I correct?"
Fallon nodded.
Y/N: "A few years ago my mother was murdered because my father made a deal with Diego and never kept his end of the deal. The deal was that if my father passed, Diego would be entitled to everything he owned in exchange for being able to marry his sister, my mother. However, in his will, my father left everything to me. Diego tried to get my mother to change or alter the will but she refused. Out of rage he lashed out and killed my mother right in front of me. He tried to get me too but I managed to escape and call the cops. The cops couldn't find him and they still haven't to this day. He's after me because I'm the only person left that knows about the deal and what he's done. He wants to kill me."
Fallon stared at me in shock for quite a while and then finally she spoke.
F: "I'm so sorry Y/N that must've been so traumatic. I won't try and say I know how you feel because I don't and I don't want to invalidate your feelings, I'm here for you okay? I'm going to protect you. Anders is the best at keeping people safe, as long as you're in the Manor no one is going to harm you"
Y/N: "No one except the people in the Manor, like Iris"
F: "Oh shit, she's in the Manor right now- and we have until Friday to sort this out. Where do we start?"
Y/N: "I have an idea"
