《 AT THE PARK 》

"Hey Lucy, Hey Alissa!" Katherine yelled. "Oh, hey Katherine." Said Lucy. "Oh, hello. You kinda startled me a bit." Chuckled Alissa. "Oh I forgot. Here take these." Said Alissa. She handed them both two plush rabbits that look similar to each other except the color. "Oh wow! Thanks Alissa!" Exclaimed Lucy. "No problem Lu." Said Alissa with a smile on her face. "This is why we are friends! You guys are so kind!" Said Lucy to both Alissa and Katherine with a cheerful voice. The two of them, Katherine and Lucy, were playing with their new plush rabbits and acted like they were siblings while Alissa just sat down and watched them play on the bench smiling looking at them vibing with their new plushies. "I wish that my life was much simpler and better, just like theirs. I would be much happier and wouldn't have to deal with all of this bullcrap." Alissa thought to herself. Life at home for Alissa was very difficult. Having to deal with her abusive dad and no mother to protect her, was a roller-coaster of depression. "Hey Alissa.. why so blue?" Asked Katherine. "It's just stuff at home that makes me feel sad.." Alissa responded. "Hey Ali.. I can try to comfort you and try to get you through all of this.. if you're comfortable or happy with that." She said to Alissa. "I um.. that would be perfect! Thank you." Responded Alissa. She quickly hugged her tightly with a bright smile. "Alissa? Um t-thanks." Said Katherine. "Awwww friendship!" Said Lucy from far away. [[ a phone vibrating in Alissa's pocket ]] "Oh um sorry but, I have to go back home now. See you guys later!" Alissa said "If I do see you guys later..." Alissa thought as she walks away from Katherine and Lucy. "Bye and thank you for the plushies! They're so cute!" Said Lucy and Katherine at the same time. She smiled back at the two of them and at the blink of an eye, she was out of their sight.
